Coaching staff is done here or gillis goes in their place. How a team comes out looking for calls and trash talking is beyond unbelievable. Double Vs Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 Coaching staff need to be gone next year. Too cute with the puck. Players are only doing what the coaches tell them, and the plan isn't working. Get the puck to the net, and don't try for the perfect play! Plus it seems the coaches can't find the right player combos on both offence and defence. It was a team loss, not Luongo's fault. Hope we bounce back next game as that was a little disappointing. We were looking good until Kassian took that dumb penalty. Henrik Kesler Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 First and third periods were inexcusable for a team that thinks it can win a cup. You cannot dominate 20 minutes of a 60 minute game against a good opponent and hope to win. Also, the lack of a puck moving defensemen is a glaring issue. The Sedins mostly rely on a good transition game because they aren't very fast and they haven't had it for 2 years. MG asleep at the wheel as usual.
