Refs gave Canucks the Western conference final 2 years ago. This time, Refs are returning a favor to San Jose.

You know, it is un-researched nonsense like this that gets repeated and turns into urban legend. It is simply not true. Look it up on nhl.com for 2010-2011 - 93 PP opportunities for, 99 against for the Canucks for the entire playoff. They gained no advantage in their playoff run. This year, the penalties are 17 PP against and 7 for over three games - same source. In addition, it is not only what is called (Henrik for pulling the puck back with the butt end of his stick and being called for pulling it back with his hand) - but the imbalance as to what is NOT called (for example the hit on Kesler on the numbers into the end boards - the endless San Jose slew-footing). The 'impartial' or 'incompetent descriptions have worn into a rather thin cloak to describe this travesty of unfairness.

It wasn't one sided.

17PPs for San Jose to 7 for the Canucks is not one-sided according to the village idiot. By that standard 17PP for San Jose to 12 for the Canucks would be outrageously in Vancouver's favour. If it was 17 each the NHL would be fully in their rights to fire all the officials and drop Vancouver from the league for bribing the officials that have already been righteously corrupted.

Uh....that was after one game when I said that. :)

McCoy: We were speculating. Is God really out there?
Kirk: Maybe he's not out there, Bones. Maybe he's right here. [points to his heart]

I don't remember game1's reffing to be so bad, but all the games after that were pretty ridiculous.
