CanucksJay
The funny thing is, Canucks will win with these new adjustments (by new adjustment I mean reverting to what worked and was unnecessarily changed) and AV fans will come back and defend him. Problem is, the true optimal line is WITHOUT Ebett... So basically this means with the new adjustments, AV has the Canucks playing at 85% potential (still good enough to beat SJ) but if he was smart and brought in Schroeder, we would be running at 100%. Also why are you re-uniting the Higgins Roy Kesler line AV? afterall, you are the genius that decided to break it up... Clue less coach. What happened to the people defending the line up change saying it was for a better matchup? If its a better match up, why is he abandoning it after one game? NUCKS4CUP 28
Terrible argument. If your brother goes to the doctor for knee surgery, and comes out of the operating room as your sister, should you refrain from complaining just because you don't have a medical degree? If AV keeps making stupid lineup decisions and juggling the lines, he won't be employed in the NHL for much longer.

Ohnoeszz
The second goal was completely on Mason Raymond. He had at least 5 seconds in the weak side slot with his back completely turned to the blue line and head staring at the puck. Had he taken one second to turn around and recognize his weak side responsibility defensively, he would have seen Boyle pinched down, picked him up when the puck came loose and had a chance to stop the easy goal. Instead, it was an epic defensive failure, made all the more clear by the head on shot as opposed to the center ice pan. Raymond has been crap for six weeks. But, if we're starting Ebbett, we clearly have no one who could step into MayRay's (perceived) role.
wendythirteenthrashers
Ugh..... I thought KASS had a great game.... Too bad he didn't take out crybaby couture harder ..... Of course he's now the goat of the game in av's eyes and is now getting demoted to the 4th line when he could be totally utilized on the invisible all game SEDIN line ... There are some teams that sedins/burr just don't work against..... San Jose is one of them....

kloubek
I really don't understand how Ebbett stays in the lineup when Schroeder isn't even part of the equation. Is Schroeder the answer? No. But he can't do any worse of a job than Ebbett.
dildo_baggins
Sedins-Kassian Raymond-Kesler-Burrows Higgins-Roy-Hansen Pinnizotto-Gaunce-Lapierre Now that is a playoffs lineup
Viking13
All I can say is why wasn't Higgins with Roy?? That's my only issue with AV's line juggling... ®
-Vintage Canuck-
I don't care what the lines are, but if we don't get past the 2nd round this year, AV SHOULD BE FIRED.
Canuck Surfer
Very close, here's my take; Higgins/Kesler/Burrows would be an awesome line. Roy upgrades Schroedes on the speed line with Hansen/Raymond & Kassian solves size match up issues for the Twins. The lines should be: Sedin Sedin Kassian Hansen Kesler Burrows Higgins Roy Raymond Weise Lapierre Sestito Garrison Hamhuis Bieksa Edler Alberts Ballard
