Neversummer
when this is over MG will do a post-season conference and shield AV from speaking to the press. Nothing will happen in the summer, Luongo won't be traded and we'll start next season just like this ... it is Groundhog Day for the Canucks. RunningWild
The Canucks are one of the most penalized teams in the league where as the Sharks are near the bottom.
Tortorella's Rant
Wow...if our goaltender had played as well as their's, you'd have never had the opportunity to share this nonsense with us. Niemi was the only brilliant goalie on the ice tonight.
DisplacedBCfan
GMMG doesn't get a pass in all of this. As classy an organization as we've become, the guy has made a laundry list of crap decisions.
Gike Millis
I will never understand why AV uses the sedins to protect the lead in the dieing seconds, they have never been good defenders.

drdeath
Unlucky to lose that one but at least the Canucks are starting to play the right way. It's a good thing the PP is looking more dangerous because the Canucks are going to get plenty of chance based on the road-favored officiating in this series. Tortorella's Rant
I've been over this many times with people, year after yr. Regular season stats do not equal playoff stats. I posted the numbers in 2010/11 and last yr as well. I haven't done the #'s this yr yet, but am sure it will be the same.

Tortorella's Rant
i agree. why not expect to win with only 2 goals? st louis are up 2-0 in their series, against the defending stanley cup champions, only scoring 2 goals
coho8888
Why the Sedins were out there on the tying goal is beyond me. When you are trying to protect a lead with a minute left, you have your best checkers out there. The ones that usually kill penalties. The Sedins do not kill penalties. So here we are, up by one in a must win game and who do you have out there? Your worst defensive pair all night, and your slowest forwards. WTF? AV needs to be canned just for this. Even Gary Valk mentioned this on sportsnet. You put out your checking line, the ones that know how to block shots and clear the front of the net. The Sedins were lost out there, going down early to try and block shots that weren't even attempted. As for Edler. Sure he provides some offense but his defensive play has been dismal now for over a year. I'm usually not one to suggest drastic moves but if the Canucks can get something decent for him this off-season they should seriously consider it. For those that suggest that its only 2 games and that we can still come back, think back to what happened last year.

Avicii
Im tired of MG's act, all talk no walk. He promised to make "BOLD" moves and not afraid to make trades, 5 years later were still waiting for that 'bold' trade.
