Pears
No ifs, ands, or buts about it. 5 or 6 straight playoff failures is completely unacceptable if we don't comeback and win this series. IMO a Stanley Cup this year is the only thing that will save AV's job.

wallstreetamigo
First off "we" don't fire AV, his boss GMMG does..."we" don't get a say. Just like "we" don't get a say in what players play here, what coaches, scouts or trainers work here, or what coaching style is employed. "Our" job is to cheer for the Canucks, come hell or high water, come what players are in or out. You either bleed blue and green or you don't. Jump on the bandwagon or off it all you want...BUT please, in the process, leave us the REAL Canucks fans some dignity and respect in the process. If you don't respect the Canucks, its direction, goals, motives and work ethics then please, there are 29 other bandwagons you can jump on to and then off when it gets tough. Be my guess. L'Orange
Oh and for the record. Yes, Alain Vigneault has had more than his share of chances to bring the Cup here. He can't. He has amazing players like Luongo, Kesler, the Sedins (not during the playoffs), Burrows and can't pull it off. On that same note, Gillis should be canned as well. He has failed to improve the team at all since 2011, with the exception of signing Jason Garrison. And I thought tonight's game was a great one too.
