yabadabadoo
Paul MacLean 10 seasons in the NHL; 719GP; 324G; 349A; 673PTS; 969PIM, including one year where he had 41G and 60A = 101PTS. Was a gritty, right winger who played in an era where more goals were scored. Probably never made more than $500,000 per year playing for the Jets, Wings and Blues. Brandon Prust 5 seasons in the NHL; 317GP; 29G; 48A; 77PTS; 722PIM. Received countless beat downs from Rick Rypien (RIP RYP), apparent "character" player for the Habs, making $2.5 million. What has the world come to when a depth player with marginal skills, touted to be a character guy makes this kind of money? Not much of a player who will provide you with skill and point production, but gotta give credit to Prust for the funny sound bite. Paul MacLean would have fought the punk Prust during his day...Therrien looks like he's about to cry. Quick, someone in the media scrum get Therrien a crying towel. Hope Eller gets back sooner than later. Can't believe Gryba got two and Dustin the puke Brown got nothing for his intent to injure Jaden Schwarz. Way to go Shanny. pimpcurtly
Yah that pissed me off. I know Prust was emotional but have some respect. Try keeping your trap shut when boiling over in front of a camera.
D :
Prust is a joke. I sincerely hope the Habs lose that series.

RUPERTKBD
As yaba pointed out, Prust isn't fit to carry the jock of a player of the caliber that McLean was. He should shut up and get back to playing his 5 minutes per game...

DownUndaCanuck
Say what you want about Prust, but the Canucks don't have a single tough guy right now who can score goals as well as he can. Our answer to Prust is Weise and Ebbett...

CALGARY!
I remember he kinda had to fight Rypien cuz Rypien would not fight Goddard ever, gotta give it to prust he didn't mind taking the beatings, looks like he still doesn't. In fact I don't think he wins many fights at all, he just likes fighting haha
