Ferlands_Head
Lu = Gudbranson or Kulikov (+ 2nd) Ballard + Anthony (or another NOT Top-Prospect) = Clutterbuck Edler + 2nd + 3rd = Lucic Henrik + Sedin = 1st + 2nd + Prospect Bieksa + Booth + Tommernes/Sauve = Johansen + Wisniewski ------------------------------------------ Lucic - Kesler - Kassian Higgins - Roy/Weiss - Clutterbuck/Burrows Clowe/Burrows - Johansen/Lapierre - Hansen Sweatt/Lain - Schroeder/Lapierre - Jensen (Johansen/Schroeder, Weise, Gaunce, Sweatt/Lain, Rodin, Pinni, Steckel + 1 or 2 FA) Hamhuis - Garrison Corrado - Tanev Gudbranson/Kulikov - Wisniewski (Alberts, Andersson, Tommernes/Sauve, Huskins, O'Byrne + 1 other FA) Schneider Lack (Cannata) ----- I guess it's more dream than realism, but this would be a awful line-up I think. With Lucic, Clutterbuck and Clowe more grit, more strength and all of them can score. We need a new timeline - without our Super-Twins! I'm sorry to say, but I think with Henrik and Daniel we would only win a flowerpot in the PO's. At 4th-line our young players get their chance to play "with big guys". But I would like to sign 2 players of the FA market, which play tough and go hard. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My Custom Lineup FORWARDS Milan Lucic ($6.000m) / Ryan Kesler ($5.000m) / Zack Kassian ($0.870m) Chris Higgins ($2.500m) / Stephen Weiss ($3.800m) / Cal Clutterbuck ($2.500m) Ryane Clowe ($3.850m) / Jordan Schroeder ($2.000m) / Jannik Hansen ($1.350m) Bill Sweatt ($1.500m) / Ryan Johansen ($1.945m) / Nicklas Jensen ($863.333) DEFENSEMEN Dan Hamhuis ($4.500m) / Jason Garrison ($4.600m) Frank Corrado ($0.599m) / Chris Tanev ($2.500m) James Wisniewski ($5.500m) / Dmitry Kulikov ($2.500m) GOALTENDERS Cory Schneider ($4.000m) Eddie Lack ($0.750m) OTHER Buried: Alexandre Burrows ($3.575m) ------ SALARY CAP: $64,300,000; CAP PAYROLL: $60,702,778; BONUSES: $1,075,000 CAP SPACE (20-man roster): $4,672,222 (No Clowe but Burrows in: CAP SPACE = $7,597,222)

Legend Killer
You mean Nicklas Danielsson? The Canucks didn't re-sign him for a reason. He's too small for the NHL. If we're giving a smaller player a chance it should be Schroeder. He has a much higher skill level.

Bodee
That's a pretty homer article. I've watched Connauton play for a few years now. If all you want are numbers out of a defenseman, he's a great prospect. But it was clear in his time on our farm team that he just doesn't have the hockey IQ or the stick checking ability to be a reliable defenseman. He's pretty much a young Bieksa who's worse in his own zone. On a stars team that is weak on D he may crack the NHL, but I really don't see him beating out Tanev or Corrado on the Canucks. This may be the best thing for his career since I think he has a better chance in the stars organization than he had here.
DeNiro
So you really rate ANYTHING that happened in Chicago as a true reflection of a prospect. I find that hilarious.
