Edler suspended for the remainder of the IHF tournament

It's because they have balls unlike the NHL. But I don't think he deserved it. He wasn't trying to hurt or hit staal just gliding back into position

To be honest it looked like Edler had no idea what he was doing out there and accidentally ran into Staal. I don't know if being a space cadet on the ice is any better than being an assassin though. Oh silly Edler.

So long as Staal is fine and has a quick recovery and the suspension doesn't carry over to the NHl (it doesn't, right?) then I am fine with the hit... it was a accidental collision.

For every 1 game suspension a non Canucks players gets, you times that by 5 and that's how much a Canucks player would get on the exact play.

Its simple math, really.

overall a year Edler would like to forget about. Hopefully he learns that he needs to improve every year and works harder in the off season since he was so terrible all year long.
