Apple Juice
He failed in Dallas when he came. He belongs in the East. His style of play fits with the East. He was brutal in the Western Conference.
Italia2006
I guess the Rangers could trade him and take some contract back.

cbdoubleu
Always found Richards to be a pass-first, non-factor player. Always a minus. He had one amazing playoffs (which was in a supporting 2nd line centre role, and that's probably where he would be best suited). He's a 20 goal, 60 assist guy, and the Canucks already have a better playmaker in Hank, and lack finishers. Richards isn't going to do much dishing to Hansen and Higgins... Pass... Dion Phaneuf
He'll be a Toronto Maple Leaf on July 5th. Also, Richards as a Canuck isn't going to happen...no cap space (he'll get 5+ on the open market which is appropiate for him if on a short-term deal). Apples
Funny how everyone wanted Richards when he was a UFA and now his a healthy scratch
Tangelos
Conn Smythe winner, stanley cup winner, near career point a game player, KNOWS HOW TO PASS..... Who wouldn't want Richards on their team at a 3-4M cap hit? It's not his fault Rick Nash can only play with Crosby.

Tangelos
Do you guys remember when Brad Richards almost became a Canuck back at the '06-07 trade deadline? Nonis was GM at the time and he was having intense conversations with Feaster (of the Tampa Bay Lightning)about aquiring him so the Canucks could have a legit 2nd line center for Naslund. The Bolts reportedly wanted that year's first round pick, Cory Schneider and either Edler or Kesler. Luckily he didn't do the trade, imagine Tampa right now with Schneider and either Edler or Kesler-what a steal that would have been.
Neversummer
Don't people who get bought out play for a discount ?? Afterall, they got gobs of money already and will be double dipping.
Guest
It would be nice, but he'd get way more money from other teams. I can't see him ending up here
Drakrami
You're right but I don't think it'll be too much about the money. He left money on the table when he signed with the Rangers. He'll want to go somewhere that he can succeed and win. Playing with the Sedins would be pretty attractive, don't you think?
alt kilgore
No. I'm tired of the "project" mentality of this GM. Sundin. Can he come back to his old production pace?.....(no) Acquiring projects like Kassian (may work out eventually, but not nearly as productive as Hodgson at the time of the trade) Sacrificing Volpatti for the promise of the never-played-an-NHL-game Pinizzotto project. Keeping Malhotra as a project going into this last season. And of course re-signing the perpetual project that is Mason Raymond.

Tortorella's Rant
Unless he wants to play for two million bucks. 1 point in 10 playoff games is enough for me to stay away from him for good. Same with Nash and his 4 points in 10.
