Assistant GM
Lol. Just saw this retweeted on twitter: Jayson Hajdu @UNDSID 19 Apr 11 Corban Knight @CorbanKnight 19 Apr 11 Ha ha Edit: Other funny tweets from his account: Corban Knight @CorbanKnight 10 Jun 11 He tweeted pretty much tweeted every day about the Canucks cup run and Kesler entering beast mode. He loves Bieksa. He defended the team when his buddies were cutting them down. He's very clearly 'proudly Cdn' - tweet it a bunch of times. I bet he signs w/ a Cdn team for sure. Edit: Sounds like he could be David Booth religious. His dad is the hockey Chaplain for the Cgy Flames and Cgy Stampeders. Not sure what a hockey chaplain is? But here's the Link
Ossi Vaananen
He'll be a true Canucks fan if he knows to screw the flames and refuse to sign there after having traded for him. I believe in you Corban.

ForsbergTheGreat
Knowing him personally, and had the privilige to play with him in junior, Corban is one of those players who constantly wow's you with his abilities on the ice. He has an NHL shot. It's not in the burrows, schroeder, or sedin wrister category. Its more like a tambellini flying down the wing and its already blown over the goalies' shoulder wrister. As they mentioned in the video (coach and teammate) he is an extraordinarily humble person, with a desire to succeed. I would love to see Corban in a Canuck uni! c00kies
Technically, it doesn't say anything about him signing, other than: "During the past ten days we spoke with Corban and his agent, and were pleased to learn Corban wanted to start his pro career in Calgary. We were able to consummate the trade today with Florida, and are confident we will get Corban signed when permitted in July." It sounds as if he will be a Flame, but there's still a chance he won't be. Some guys like to see what's out there before committing.
Ossi Vaananen
Iggy and Phanuef were both Oilers fans growing up, but still signed with Calgary multiple times. When the NHL comes knocking you throw that out of the window

Ossi Vaananen
Why does everyone think he's a lock for Calgary? They traded for his rights, doesn't mean he'll sign. If you think about it leaving Florida for Calgary is a lateral move in terms of terribad. It could rather be the case that he's walking away from Florida in order to join a competitive team, regardless where he slots in.
