Phil_314 Posted June 29, 2013 Share Posted June 29, 2013 Why are they dangling him? I thought he was one of their better guys, and he managed to put up 0.73 p.p.g. which is pretty decent scoring. It's not like they don't have cap space ($17M is plenty even for re-signing Matthias, Markstrom, Mueller and maybe Skille who are RFA's), plus their kids will need someone like him and Versteeg to carry some of the scoring load esp. with Weiss going to UFA. Unless, they're planning to be major buyers again in free agency? Anyhow, Lu for Fleischmann, a prospect and a 2nd would be great. Doubting that Markstrom's ready.
