Warhippy
Sabres GM Darcy Regier has confirmed that extension talks have begun with ex Canuck uber prospect Cody Hodgson. Not much else to report. Hope he signs there and his dad gets him a solid deal, hell of a player
Watermelon
If he gets 4.5 or higher then I'm glad we traded him. Stupid brat
Monty
He'll get somewhere around $4.5M.

Warhippy
Easily, he would have won the Calder had we kept him, playing 4-5 minutes less than any other rookie with comparable points on a 3rd line role. Where the others were all playing top line minutes with PP time. He will indeed get north of $4.5 million because he really is a good player no matter what we think of him. My gripe is the return, Gillis could have should have pried a pick as well.
UFCanuck
Rich Winter's first proposal to the Sabres is 4yr 16M. Cody's Dad steps in and counter's his sons agent with a 5yr 25m.

Warhippy
which also means that he wasnt playing against the top pairing defencemen like other rookies were. Thats makes a big difference.
TOMapleLaughs
Which again means no PP time at all, so no inflated stats and less time on ice to do it
Warhippy
He played 2nd unit PP for us. But do we need to dwell on Coho's time here again?

zoner.
"ex Canuck uber prospect Cody Hodgson" Uber-prospect, really? Hodgson isn't the second coming of Crosby, people. Guess some people just can't move on...
canadiangunner
If he gets anything more then 3.5m then he's overpaid. Still needs to prove himself...overrated in the vancouver market.
Lancaster
Whatever he gets, it'll be because he's able to earn that amount. We'll be lucky if Kassian is able to be good enough to earn that type of salary.
