Primal Optimist
I looked at him a lot last year: potential to be a great 3rd line pivot.
Ilya Mikheyev
Looks like he slacked off after he signed the big contract. Yes hopefully 'poverty' will inspire him to play hard haha!
CB007
Higgins-Santorelli-Hansen will be a fun line to watch. This could be a real good third line for us next season
Phamda
Here's what hf said about him a few years ago Talent Analysis Santorelli has great hands and scoring ability. He has outstanding speed and acceleration, and coupled with his quickness makes him a very difficult player to contain. Santorelli has the ability to make things happen every time he’s on the ice. He has developed a knack for scoring timely goals as well. Santorelli has great on-ice vision and awareness and knows where the play is going. One area where his game has really matured has been in his ability to stay with the play regardless of which zone it is in. Santorelli has little trouble getting pucks to the net and shoots with great frequency. While he isn’t an overly physical player, Santorelli won’t shy away from playing the body when necessary. JensenFan2011
Since when have Kassian or Jensen or an 18 year old draft pick been placed higher on the depth chart than Hansen? Yo this is Jannik Hansen we are talking about right? The one who was 4th on our team's scoring last year? Not some other Hansen that I didn't know. zombieksa
-He is 10-for-19 career shootout. - Replaces Lappy as RH Center. -His most common linemate when he scored 20 goals? David Booth. Third line of Booth-Santorelli-Hansen Seems like this could pay dividends, need more RH players.
CB007
Could have been a lot of things: He had a shoulder problem. There was a coaching change. There was a huge player personal change.
Blackberries
bigtime moneyball signing...I like it though, 6 foot. 190 pounds decent .
B_a_M
Since Kassian,Higgins, burrows, booth and Jensen or shinkaruk would be better off in the top
gradin123
I love how when the Canucks sign some player I have barely heard of I come to these boards and see unbridled enthusiasm.
CB007
Hansen plays a hard nosed game... he isn't secondary scoring. being able to play Hansen on the fourth line is a privilege for us. nothing against him. you know who wins cups? a team that can run all four lines and with Richardson Santorelli Hansen we would for sure be able to trust our fourth line. Apple Juice
So basically an Ebbett replacement except he's great on face-offs, has better playmaking abilities, and is willing to play a physical game despite his size. So what you're saying is that he's the player Ebbett wishes he was? I like it. Good depth signing.

Edler's Mind Tricks
I think this could be great as an offensive third line, but he doesn't seem great on the defensive end of things after looking at his WOWYs (stats With Or Without You, you being any player on their team or the opposition's team). Here are his linemates during his 40 point season, courtesy of frozenpool (which is awesome): http://hockey.dobbersports.com/frozenpool_linecombo.php?chkForward=checkbox&selForward=FLASANTORELLI%2CMICHAEL&period=ALL&situation=EV&games=2010-2011%3AR%3A99&Submit=Show+Line+Combinations&sent=go The constant? David Booth. So we could have: Sedin Sedin Kassian (Torts supposedly wants to have Bur and Kes together). Crazy zone starts as usual. Burrows Kesler Hansen (hustling two way line that does a lot of the heavy lifting) Higgins Santorelli Booth (Medium zone starts, provides good secondary scoring) Lw-Richardson-Rw I don't know if that is great, but it should work.
