[Signing] Canucks Sign Santorelli

Recommended Posts

Sedin-Sedin-Kassian (assumed with Torts comments on Kes/Burr)

Higgins-Kesler-Burrows (Higgins and Kes play really well together IMO, Burr and Kes obviously have chem.)

Booth-Santorelli-Hansen (Booth-Santorelli have played together in the past, assume this is how we start)

Lain-Richardson-Weise (Good to have additional center in lineup, Lain is the likely 4th line Candidate, Weise assumed to re-sign)

Sestito

Hamhuis-Bieksa (We know it worked in the past)

Edler-Tanev (Tanev has the defensive abilities Edler doesn't have, Edler has the size that Tanev doesn't)

Garrison-Kostka (My choice of next signing, not signing with Toronto, can play 20 mins. a game if need be)

Alberts-Weber ( Hoping AHLberts re-signs, he knew his role, Weber allows Corrado to handle #1 D in AHL for season)

Santorelli could be a good reclamation project. The face-off ability is still there, he's just sort of fallen off offensively. Maybe he still has the talent and the team can bring it out of him. If not, probably a better 13th guy than Ebbett was.

I really think that since Gillis isnt going for big signings, he wants 2 out of the 3 of Gaunce, Schroeder, or Jensen in the lineup for next year.

Don't be surprised if our line up looks something like this in October.

Sedin-sedin-kassian

Booth-kesler-burrows

Higgins-Gaunce-Jensen

Richardson-santorelli-Hansen

Weise, sestito

Hamhuis-Bieksa

Garrison-Tanev

Edler-corrado

Weber

Good mix of youth, speed, and grit. Maybe a few more depth dman would be nice, but im excited to see some youth in the line up, havnt seen some since Kesler and Burrows first joined the team.
