aGENT
I've only tried their Golden Ale and was pretty 'meh' on it. Haven't been able to find much else of theirs so far... Link to comment

elvis15
Time for a bump with this fine summer beer drinking weather! I went back to Penticton for a week recently and had to stop by Bad Tattoo again. Their cerveza negra is one I enjoy so I got a growler of that and picked up some of their ACP Golden Ale for my mom (which was great, and she liked it a lot). I'd also seen a friend of mine post earlier about a limited edition they had, so I picked up one each of the two I found: I know my buddy has a pretty good nose for beer and I like Bad Tattoo's stuff (plus their pizza!) so I knew the first would be good. It's got plenty of malt and uses Ardenne yeast for a strong (9.2%) Belgian beer along the lines of the dubble/tripel/quads you see. I haven't tried it yet, but am very interested to. I didn't know about the second one though, and this is an even more limited release. From the 2014 brew of the first beer, it spent 2015 sitting in Tennessee whiskey barrels. At 11.88% it's a strong one, and hopefully for the price it's worth it (it was $20-something a bottle). Link to comment
Roger Neilsons Towel
My Favourite everyday drinking beer: Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale "Brewed in Halifax since 1820, India Pale Ale is light in colour and hopped in flavour. Only the lightest and finest barleys that produce a pale malt are used while the amounts of hops are increased so as to give a pronounced hop flavour." My Favourite Summer Beer: Rickards White - So refreshing! "Brewed in Belgian tradition, Rickard's Original White is an unfiltered wheat beer with a natural cloudy appearance. Try it in a pint glass garnished with an orange to bring out the subtle notes of coriander and citrus." Link to comment
Sean Monahan
@Roger Neilson's Towel have you tried kronenbourg blanc? Very similar to rickard's white but better IMO. Link to comment

Try Alexander Keith's Premium White, it is one of my favourites, however it's hard to find in stock. My favourite beer is a good hefeweissen (wheat ale), Paulaner is the best quality i have found outside of germany! Franziskaner is great but also hard to find! Link to comment

Might be to your taste. Link to comment
Professor.of.Perception
I have, and i dislike Sapporo, and King Heffy is good. There is just something i love about the unpasteurized beer, its got more life! I offered Keith's as its an easy drinker you can't have too many! Compared with a good hefeweissen, you can occasionally get full on the yeast. Link to comment

420since1974
Name: Oland Export Ale Brewed by: Alexander Keiths, Nova Scotia Style: American Blonde Ale Notes: A longtime Maritime favourite, Oland Export was introduced in the early 1920s, and is cold-aged to deliver characteristic crispness. Using special North American hops for flavour and bitterness, and unique natural flavours from Labatt’s special top fermenting ale yeast, Labatt has created a crisp, clean and well-balanced ale. AlwaysACanuckFan
I gotta say this beer is my favorite, which is brewed in Amsterdam. "It’s a bright golden color with a creamy white head. With flavor, profiles are malted and floral with a slightly fruity traces from yeast. In the mouth, the body is light, slightly silky. The flavor has a rich malty character. The finish is refreshing with a fleeting presence fruity and medium bitterness." Link to comment
I.Am.Ironman
I'm currently in Europe and Amstel Beer is everywhere, it is quite nice. Some other European favourites of mine through my travels are Leffe Blonde (Belgium), innis and Gunn rum finish (Scotland), reich beer - a smoky beer brewed specifically in bamberg Germany, and most German Weise beers (Hefeweizen). Guiness also tastes better in Ireland and Estrella (Spain) is always nice. I am am excited to come home and get my hands on some goose island IPA Link to comment
elvis15
Had both the beer I posted about earlier last night, and while the one was quite nice, the special edition one was fantastic. Very expensive, but fantastic. I kinda want more... Beautiful colour, and a heavy nose of whiskey but not as much of the liquor burn you'd expect if you were drinking whiskey straight. Even at 11.88% it was pleasantly smooth. Link to comment
Twilight Sparkle
i encourage this brew be picked up on sight the graprefruit and bitterness are definitely there, and it's awesome-- real good for a summer session <3 Link to comment
