Kyosama
Why'd the Jets let Burmistrov go for nothing? They should've at least traded him. Poor asset management. Hey meanwhile nobody's talking about Wellwood. What happened to the love-in that a minority of cdc had for the guy?
Warhippy
Jets=joke raymund=joke perfect fit, hope it happens and we play against the lousy jets frequently. Can't stand that team... PS why the hard time against Eklund? lol he's generally pretty good on insider info and knows the inner workings of the league pretty well... CanucksFanMike
Why doesn't he fit in the top 9...? I might have missed someone, but.... Kane - Little - Wheeler Ladd - Jokinen - Setoguchi Raymond - Scheifele - Frolik Thorburn - Slater - Tangradi Wright - Peluso Byfuglien - Enstrom Bogosian - Clitsome Trouba - Stuart Pardy - Postma Pavelec Montoya Could also give the Jets flexibility if he keeps rebounding and Setoguchi struggles, he can slot into the 2nd line. He scored at a 40 point pace last season, and if he plays with decent offensive players (read: not Schroeder, Ebbett, Weise or Sestito) he can be a very productive 2nd liner, despite what some CDCers might have to say. Putgolzin
This just in. Raymond was quickly closing in on a contract....and then skated away from it and fell down.
TOMapleLaughs
Re: Burmi They wouldn't have got anything close to his value, and they didn't let him walk for nothing, they still own his rights for many years.
Monty
They could've gotten a pick or a prospect from a team who saw that he simply doesn't want to play in Winnipeg. They, Antropov and Burmistrov, were fine in Atlanta, but Winnipeg? Might as well be the gulag. I think they'll still have to trade Burmi when his contract with Ak Bars Kazan is up, two years from now.

Coconuts
It's Eklund, but I'm hoping he can find a new NHL home. It's time for change, but I still like Raymond and wish him the best.

Monty
I can confirm the Jets are front runners for Mason Raymond, with the Oilers and Devils close behind.

BenDrinkin
3 or 4 years ago if this were the situation, teams would be pouncing on him. Toughness became a priority since the rules sorta just changed, and so speed without toughness is not a hot commodity.
