that just means it'll take him longer to get up between falls, so he'll be able to fall less per shift as a result

You'd fall a lot too after getting run over by boogaard (god rest his enormous soul), just re-watched that hit. Maybe one of his legs entered another dimension, hence his stability issues. I'd say 400+. You have to count double because of quantum entanglement.

You're forgetting the fact that he was already falling every shift BEFORE that hit.

So we are officially in a bit of a silly season, and in general I stay away from the completely crazy rumors that persist on the internet, or in the case of the Leafs having interest in Nabokov or Turco I will occasionally debunk them...however, I have been getting inundated with emails, PMs, and questions on twitter regarding a few rumors that are out there...so here goes.. I will address the rumors and follow with what I have or haven't heard...If you all like this format, maybe Wacky Wednesdays could be a regular feature. I wouldn't do it more than once a week, because I am too busy talking to actual sources and attempting to provide you all with as much unique information as possible.

Too busy talking to actual sources? lolwut

Nope, due to the force of impact there was a bending of time-space. Therefore it created clumsyness in the past.

82 games X 5 falls per game = 410 falls per season

He is the Jack Tripper of hockey

Yeah all these sub-triple digit guesses are either lowballing or predicting a serious injury.

He really wasn't falling much last season, more of a carry over mentality from the 2 previous. He was making some great plays all season and helped us through some patches where top line guys weren't producing. He'll have a fine career wherever he ends up, and yes it will be in the NHL.

He makes more money in one year than most people make in their lifetime and he's a bad hockey player? The guy plays in the NHL and is more successful than anyone on this forum will be or are combined.... Stop obsessing about how much he falls (Not as much as people say...) and respect what he's done for this organization. Mason Raymond is a class act.

Oh come on. Exaduration for the sake of entertainment is perfectly acceptable. Everybody loves raymond! we just like making fun.

The thread which counted Raymond falls last year died an inactive death after a healthier, stronger Raymond failed to oblige, healing nicely from his broken back, and notably much stronger on his skates.
This is now old news.
My prediction is that Raymond will score more goals than falls next year.
I hope he signs with the Jets and lights it up.

Well, in his defense it does look like he was pushed.

And that towel(?) is kind of disturbing. The one before didn't need it, so it makes it look like a skirt made out of hair. EWW! *lol*

The problem with Raymond going to the KHL is that Russian women are stronger than him.

He's married? With a kid?

Here's another quotable for you:

Nothing like a Raymond thread to bring out the douche in CDC.

The novelty here is inspiring though.

sure seems like he's improved since last year.

Last post from the originator of (one of the other) 'official mayraydown' count the Mason Raymond falls threads... Thread got stale, and a couple months passed to end the season without a bump....Raymond just wasn't falling enough to sustain the interest.

Thread Fail

Amazing what time does to a broken back

This thread's existence proves how lame the average CDCer's iife is.
