He's mentioned it in interviews that he looked at every possible way out, he switched agents, his heart has moved on. Miller is also in need of a change of scenery and would prefer a trade out west ( rumoured ) . They are both pretty equal in talent and only having Miller for 2 years left on his contract gives Lack a chance to prove if he can take over. If not, then we can re-sign Miller or depending on our 'window' , we may not want to have a high price goalie. Ehrhoff wouldnt be a gamble because we have seen how well he plays with us and has been very much missed since he left. He may not hit hard like Edler, but he doesnt have the brain cramps that Edler is prone to and plays the right side which we need. - Both teams get an elite goalie who need a change so neither team loses - Both teams take on a long term contract that could hurt them down the road - Both teams get a great d-man - Salary combo's are both at 10 mil so cap space isnt an issue Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
