snucks
Its a pretty dicey goalie situation the Canucks have created. I can't see Luongo changing his old habits and unless they play their backup he won't get better either. It still comes back to a botch job by Canucks management. Maybe they should reduce ticket prices as things don't look good. They are in their present configuration a organization that has wrecked players. It is amazing how other teams play their first round choices while the Canucks want to season them till they are fed up with things and their career ruined. It won't be any different this year and they can blame Torts if things go bad.

EagleShield
Think it will be Lack to start out. I'd give Eriksson 10 to 15 games in the AHL to prove that he can carry his numbers to North America. If he can, give him a few NHL games.
icycold
See if i get this straight, who is the better goalie to back up Lou? A guy who has been injured and in re-hab or a guy from another league who needs to adjust? IF you had to bet like this on a horse race.. who would you bet on? not very smart to lay a bet down at this point... Yes we need new threads but... How about? How are our goalie prospects making out so far especially with the new arrival of Eriksson? A bit more reasonable no?
icycold
I think lack starter erikksson back up and luuuuuuuuuuuuuuu 3rd goalie
Betweenthepipes-R
Luongo starter, Lack backup. I don't think there's any doubt. Lack has had a stellar time in the AHL barring his injury season and has signed a contract for under his value to stay in Vancouver. The 'Stork' is going to be between the pipes a lot more than the Joker.
canucks_qc
Clearly he would benefit from NHL caliber D men. He didn't let in any espescially bad goals, even the one off the draw which he probably should have had was still a perfect shot above the pad below the blocker. Oh you mean his stat line was bad? Good thing your fantasy hockey season hasn't started yet.
NuckleheadFan
Wouldn't mind if Lack started in Utica on a conditioning stint to get some games in and test his hip, then gets brought up to back up Lu.

Canuck Surfer
If Lack is still recovering from injury, and our second Swede needs seasoning; maybe Cannata starts the year where he finished last year?
sabatoge95
I think Lack will be the back-up this year but Eriksson will be the next franchise goalie for the Canucks. I just have a feeling that he's gonna develop into a beast.

Carl's Jn
lack gets hurt to often... already showing signs of injury problems.... on that note i would say for healthier reasons i say Eriksson.. Eriksson even sounds like he is more motivated to make the canucks ...
