Down by the River
WHERE TO WATCH: http://www.youtube.c...eature=g-high-u canucks.nhl.com ROSTERS [uPDATED]: PREVIEW FROM THE OILERS BOARD: PLAYERS TO WATCH CANUCKS - BO HORVAT The Vancouver Canucks drafted Bo Horvat ninth overall in the 2013 draft knowing full well of his offensive ability. They liked him so much that, in general manager Mike Gillis’ eyes, he was worth Cory Schneider. The Canucks acquired Horvat in a blockbuster and highly publicized trade. Horvat, a 6-0 206 pound centre, flashed elite skills with the London Knights in the OHL in his two seasons there. In 67 games last season, Horvat exploded for 61 points (33-28). He also added 23 points in 21 playoff games with the Knights including 16 goals. The Vancouver prospect scored a pretty goal in their Young Stars game against the Sharks this week. He is a young player to watch in this tournament and beyond. OILERS - MARCO ROY Marc-Olivier Roy was drafted by the Oilers in the second round, 56th overall, of the 2013 draft. Roy, 18 years-old, is seen as one of the better offensive prospects for the Oilers in this Young Stars Classic. After playing on the wing on Thursday, the Oilers coaching staff tried Roy at centre and the verdict after last night’s game was he filled that role well. Oilers coach Todd Nelson said after the game that he was impressed with Roy’s ability to jump around on the forward line and still play well. Roy’s speed has been evident in the Young Stars Classic and he’s someone Oilers fans will be excited to see more of this offseason.

Ossi Vaananen
Gotta keep Cederholm out of the box. I assume the lineups you guys have posted are guesses? Looking forward to seeing Gaunce draw back in, and hopefully a scrappy game if we're dressing Mychan.

Joel Heyman
Wow! Didn't realize Shinner had 2 assists! That's pretty great. Lineup I want to see is: Blomstrand - Gaunce - Jensen Shinkaruk - Horvat - Cassels Hall/Hope (whichever one has been looking good, got them mixed up ) - Mallet - Myron Mychan - Friesen - Pacan Cederholm - Corrado Andersson - Subban Tommernes - Guimond
