Derek Joslin signed with AIK of the SHL back in June 28th. he had an assist in their game with HV71 on Sept 14th, which for me proves he is not in camp, the list was wrong in this case, haha.

Kellan Tochkin is practicing with his old WHL team in preparation for the AHL season. Not sure what is going on there, but word is he is under contract for 13-14 season but not in camp for unknown reasons.

Rodin and Sweatt were qualified but were not signed to a new contract.

Both signed in the SEL (now SHL) - but the Canucks still retain their NHL rights due to qualifying them.

Check this out about Patrick McNally...he may be in camp but he is not on the official roster..and this is probably why: kicked off the Harvard hockey team for academic cheating. He may even have been kicked out of Harvard. haha.

Thanks for the encouragement. It is far from 'pro' but it did the trick in other full seasons, also I get most of my info from you guys, so post away and I will double check before I edit the first few posts with the info. Mostly I like to know who is really in the running for those 2 or 3 spots that are sort of open for anyone to earn, as camp goes on the team trims and trims getting closer to the magic 23 opening night roster spots. That is fun for me, but it must be nerve wracking for the players in camp who aren't making a million dollars yet.

No for me on scrimmages, I live on the Island, but I am looking forward to Monday Night's preseason game against San Jose.

Side note: we play San Jose twice in preseason and Edmonton twice..then opening night is against San Jose and game two is the home opener against...Edmonton.

Could be interesting i guess to see how it shakes down with the full 23 man rosters after tryout games are done, but I hope I am not bored of seeing those two teams by the time the season starts...

just a quick note about mcnally, he voluntarily withdrew, he was never suspended. it was most likely part of a plea deal.
