Canuckler87
He's got the size and decent speed. He just needs to work on his shot. I think he will surprise quite a few people this season with his goals and points output. If he were to be placed in front of the net on the power play he could cause turbulence. Just get him to stand there & put in the rebounds, hopefully rough up the opposing netminder and get into his head.
stexx
sorry but that is like saying henrik has untapped physicality. I just dont see it with tom he handles the puck like it is a grenade.
austy
Because you used the term turbulence I will plus one.

I do wonder however what take the most guts; Sestito being given a chance or a fan believing Sestito has untapped potential.
KFBR392
He might have untapped potential in regards to being a bartender, or a carpenter... But as a hockey player? Doubtful.
AFrame14
Sesito, Richardson, Weise as our fourth line!! I agree op. I could see him puttin in 10 and Weise puttin in 12-15.
Boudrias
Looking for untapped scoring potential out of a 4th line is not recognizing the role they play. Sure take the goals when presented but IMHO the 4th's role is to bottle the opposition in their zone and exact a physical toll on the opposing d-core. If the shift ends with a ozone FO all the better. I also see a spot on a 4th line for a player who might move up the depth chart with some ice time. Cyril Sneer
He could actually be the least most skilled player in the NHL today.
Plum
Sestito is 25 years old so he has room to improve his game but I don't see him being in the top 9 unless loads of injury or he steps up his game and speed this year.

That was Volpatti. Sestito has decent hands but skates with no purpose

LOL!! I'm going with the somebody believing Sestito has untapped potential option. Actually I'm surprised we haven't seen a "Why not put Sestito on the First Line?" thread yet. Keslerific
He has the potential to be a top goon if he works on his boxing If Santorelli and Ferriero goon it up we can have what I like to call the Italian goon line with those
higgyfan
Not to be critical of the guy, but I'm not feeling very hopeful of him doing much. I think there are other 4th line options that would be better.
CB007
He could actually be the least most skilled player in the NHL today. Don't forget John Scott.
surtur
Worst thing about CDC is the hate for our own players be it the twins mayray or rypien It is embarrassing . Sestito is good at what he is and he does have potential to be more then that He is big can fight and does actually have good hands is he the fastest guy ? No.. And to say the guy sucks considering he is in the NHL on one of the top teams in the league I would say he is alright.
apollo
Looool threads like this make CDC worth while. Just the topic title is good for a chuckle :D
grandmaster
What a terrible thread. Sestito is the worst player on this team. He can't skate, can't score, can't pass and worst of all; he can't fight (which is why he was brought in here in the first place!) Can't think of any player worse on this Canuck team. This thread is a joke
