DownUndaCanuck
Nichushkin had a couple of goals already, he'll be in the Stars lineup all season long for sure. As good a player as Horvat is, Nichushkin is a much more skilled and dynamic forward - Horvat just fits our needs (center) better. That being said if we picked Nichushkin he'd probably be on our 2nd line with Kesler to start the season.

hockeyville88
I like the hybrid icing rule that they're using so far. I don't cringe and hold my breath anymore when 2 players are chasing down a puck by the end boards

smurf47
Well, it was only exhibition but to be a first star in your first game of the season and with a new team is pretty impressive. Schneider sure looked like he was in mid season form. Well done Schneids!

hockeyville88
It actually hurts watching him play. I was really looking forward to watching him in almost every game for the Canucks. Since I'm a goalie too I was hoping to learn from him as he's one of the most technically sound goalies in the league. It is just so shocking that he's not a Canuck anymore. I'm glad he did well. Who knows, he might even take the starter's job away from Brodeur. Wouldn't be the first time he's upstages an Olympic gold medalist!
