I see it has only taken one game for fans to start turning on Lu. Not surprising really.

It will be funny to see alot of you whining when he's gone and we're a goalie graveyard again. Going on and on about the days when we had the best goalie tandem in the league.

Luongo is our best chance at winning a cup this season. Just support the guy or shut up. We're not going with a Lack/Eriksson tandem no matter how much you idiots whine.

Oilers only dressed 3 of their regular defensemen. Same with the Canucks.

Oilers had depth players like Arcobello, Acton and Pitlick up front. Both teams had their starting goalies to begin with.

Say what you want, but the difference was the Oilers played a better game than the Canucks. Whether that's because they have played more games, maybe that's why, but it is what it is. It's cheap to blame it on the lineup.

was nice seeing lu back again. sucky first, but that's kinda the point of the pre seasons. management knows winning doesn't mean anything, but the work the team puts in, finding chemistry with guys and just see how the younger guys handle themselves in a big league environment. thats kinda what people dont understand in the pre season. have one bad game and, that's it, this team is going to be killed dead and not make the playoffs

I thought Bieksa played well. At his best he is pinching, shooting when he has the opportunity, throwing hits and it works. At his worst he is pinching, shooting when he has the opportunity, throwing hits and it doesn't work. He is so unpredictable it is both exciting and very scary.
