hockeyville88
John Shannon @JSportsnet 1h Take note London and Medicine Hat...just been told Canucks' 1st Rd Picks Horvat and Shinkaruk will start the season in the NHL. The right call IMO. They've earned their spots. And this team needs the youth that they bring. Let's see how they do and how long they stay up here. Best of luck to both! LimitedEdition
I'm super excited, it's been a while since the Canucks have had some highly touted rookies in the lineup.
CanucksSayEh
Suprised Bo is getting a look. Shinkaruk definitely earned it.

TheRussianRocket.
As expected...I'm guessing Horvat goes down to Junior as Schroeder will be back in a couple of weeks and Shinkaruk stays...mad that Booth is back cause now he'll be 'wasting' a spot on the 2nd line when Shinkaruk can be there, except if Booth is given a bottom 6 role. Apples
AV would have never let them play on the team.

-AJ-
Not sure they can last, but it's exciting to finally have some really young blood in the lineup. Who are the odd ones out then, I wonder?
Go Faulk Yourself
It'll be an interesting couple of weeks to see what they can do. If they can get comfortable with their line-mates and build chemistry quick enough, they just MIGHT stay up with the team for the year. That's a big IF though, but it'd definitely be awesome if they did.
Guest Pinchin
Don't get too excited about Bo, it's just for a look. Hunter will stay only if he makes the decision for GMMG with stellar play.

Pears
When was the last time we had TWO 18 year olds in the line up?
criticallycanuck
There's a good chance they will both stick longer term. This team needs an example from youthful exuberance. And most importantly, it has always been Tortorella's MO to rely heavily on youngsters (22 and under) whether prized prospects or energy depth players. They didn't bring him in to baby the youth. UFCanuck
I think Horvat is the one who has the best chance of staying once Kassian comes back.
