Dral
Stop whining and just sing the damn thing. It is what it is. I'd say the same thing to secularists if they said "God" needs to be removed. Does a single word have a big impact on how you feel about your country? Is it really that inflammatory? Does it affect national policies? No. Non issue. Gerg
Really. But if we're doing that then we might as well remove the god part.
Mr. Ambien
While we're at it, completely re-write God Save the Queen. That thing is full of offensive, secular and gender as well.

Bill Sikes
And remove the queen part of the oath for new citizens. Archaic and stupid.
Magikal
Just another example of the stupidity of modern day feminism. These women are absolute idiots. Oh my bad, they probably still would prefer I spell it womyn. SMH
silverpig
It's not a big deal to me so they can change it if they want, but they should also get rid of the "God keep our land" bit too then.
Hobble
As long as they keep True North in there, I am fine with it. Wasn't that the original line over "thy sons" anyways?!? I would always be fine with them removing God, but I'm indifferent on that one.

Monty
Although I always sing along in a public setting, I really have no feelings towards our national anthem, or others, tbh. It's just a song, and a song means nothing to me when it comes to being Canadian.
