Edler and Stuart got 3 for hitting to the head because it's a new rule and trying to get do something for commotions. With what said, my guess (not what they deserves, but what I think the NHL will do) : Lapierre = 4 (3 games for the hit and an extra one for the severity of Boyle's injury, even if he seems to be better today) Burns = 1-2 game max Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Boyle was in a terrible position but the NHL doesn't seem to think that the victim has any responsibility whatsoever. It's not Lapierre's fault he was in the position that he was.
