But, I swear it seems like it's almost automatic that the boys will fall once the OT period ends. The best records I could figure are that since the NHL instituted the shootout in the 2005-2006 season the Nucks have 66 OTL. It seems to me the boys could play endless overtimes every night and win. Edler does the same move every time fake backhand then forehand five hole same with Kesler gain speed then stop and tries to fool the goalie like patty kane! Twilight Sparkle Posted October 20, 2013 Share Posted October 20, 2013 this team shouldn't need a shoot out specialist, since that's not what the team is built around. the shoot out is a complete crapshoot anyways, and this team is talented enough where losing in the shoot out, or even overtime won't hurt affect us that much. this team has always been horrible in the shootout, even when vigs sent out the twins, all of our top guys, and showed little results. that's just how the gimmick works. it's really all about luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
