Bananas
Sounds like he wants more icetime. But if Kesler is a winger, who is he going to supplant? Maybe the Booth-Richardson-Kassian line will get something going, but they play 10-13 a game, and that's what Booth was kinda whining about. Then I would also give Booth some decent powerplay time. Why not? It's not like the powerplay can struggle even more. And getting him a goal or two will boost his confidence. Our current top-6 was spanked during our trip to LA and Anaheim. Combined -19 for those two games. Ouch. Well, he'll at least start at 10-ish minutes. He'll directly replace Archibald on the Rich-Kass line. His minutes will go up when he deserves it. Rick Grimes
I still hope he can recover from his injuries, but I dont have much faith in him anymore. He can go.

Raoul Duke
I can't remember this team having a more overpaid/invisible player than Booth. Honestly, name another player that has been this useless in this franchise's history that has made this much $$.

Canuck or Die
Sammuellson should have never left, one injury and the guy who battled against Chicago with us all those playoffs is gone for good? The guy Kesler was a 40 goal scorer with. Samuelsson was also lazy as hell and would also be invisible. Sure, in hindsight he seems better now, by virtue of having a lower caphit, but I doubt he'd help us anymore right now.
The Bookie
Samuelsson played 4 games last year.
Hectic
Samuelsson played 4 games last year. This reminds me of a guy who always calls on the radio who constantly asks that the Canucks should trade for a top 6 forward, and actually brings up some valid points, and then proceeds to say that Samuelsson would be the solution to the Canucks problems on offense. It was hilarious: "Honestly, the Canucks need to bring some elite talent to their forward group. There's Getzlaf, there's Perry, Crosby, Stamkos, so many elite forwards on other teams. We need to make a trade for an elite forward. "What would you suggest?" "A guy like Samuelsson..." "It's always Samuelsson with you!" Absent Canuck
Here we go again. It's the David Booth Soap Opera. Will he be in the line-up? If so, will he play well? He wont play well because he cannot think the game fast enough. His hand eye co ordination , his vision and on ice IQ are well below what is required now to succeed in the NHL . Gollumpus
I think Raoul was talking about the Canucks' history. Yeah, but I went NHL-wide. You can't restrict this kind of criticism to just one team. regards, G.
CanucksSayEh
Doesn't look as fast as last year, expect that to improve. Kesler looked like a slug for the first ten or so games this year, then found his legs and went on a tear. Booths strength is in his skating. Canada Hockey Place
Firstly, it's hard to ignore Samuelsson's effect on the PP. Especially since the PP has gone downhill since he left and that he's a righty. He was a great back-up on the PP. Losing Ehrhoff and Samuelsson at the same time.... sucked. Having said that, it was understandable at the time. It was when VAN started using Kesler on the PP. And probably though Booth could be like Kesler or even take his place to ease some of the ice time. It was a good gamble. Chemistry with the Sedins is a finicky thing. Sundin, Naslund, Demitra should have worked but Anson Carter, Samuelsson worked better. That's weird right? So Booth.... hasn't worked.... it's a swing and miss. But it's better to try and fail than no try at all IMO.
DarthMelvin
Booth was not even a factor for us and against San Jose....
Hairy Kneel
surprisingly, he looked sluggish and slow..this is probably why he isn't getting as many scoring chances.
