I don't game on consoles so I'm safe. :P

75% consoles 25% PC for me.

It's just I am not too good fooling around with PC's, I tried that free Windows(forgot what version) and it wouldn't install.  Now all my old porn tv shows is now unwatchable on windows media player.  I keep getting prompted for all these updates for LG(monitor but it's hooked up to my tv now) AVG(antivirus?), etc. but nothing really happens.  It's a few years old now but it should be able to keep up, maybe needs a new video card.   When I bought my PC they said to keep the graphic card box because it has parts to 'bridge' with another card.  Anywhoo long story short is it's needs some tlc, but it still runs Cities:Skyline and a I tried a few demos from steam  and it's seems fine at times.  Maybe when I go home I'll look up the specs.

Here's some 18 features that have come out from a survey.

NHL Threes in NHL 18 delivers the intense action of the 3-on-3 overtime hockey with a faster pace, bigger hits and more open ice to score insane goals. New audio commentary, broadcast presentation and over-the-top arena designs deliver a fresh new feel to every game. No matter how you play, NHL Threes stays fresh with multiple game modes, including cooperative or competitive play with friends, online versus against other players, or the new Circuit Mode where you battle through leagues and complete challenges to make it to the big show.

NHL 18 introduces new dekes that give players creative freedom to freeze goaltenders and create space around defenders. Players can also string together deking combinations into fluid dangles that give every attack the potential to be a creative masterpiece. On defense, the new Defensive Skill Stick delivers full control over your stick to target poke checks, keep sticks extended, or sweep sticks back and forth for zone coverage. Finally, the new Creative A.I. system lets AI teammates leverage the same new deking, passing, and defensive tools that you do, making for smarter plays in every zone.

NHL 18 introduces draft expansion to the acclaimed Franchise Mode, letting you take on the front office role of the 31st NHL team: the Vegas Golden Knights. Play as the authentic Golden Knights before their first NHL game, or draft your very own 32nd team in your hometown and reshape the league entirely, complete with a unique roster, arena, jersey, logo, and even a custom mascot. Expansion gives you the power to bring the excitement of professional hockey to your hometown on a quest to capture the Cup.

NHL 18 introduces new dekes and playmaking combinations that let you light the lamp with insane speed and dozens of jaw-dropping skill moves, including between-the-legs dekes, passes, and shots that make every moment memorable. Take control of the most skilled players in the NHL and experience the sport that was meant to be a videogame with the fastest pace, biggest hits, and most insane goal-scoring of any sports game out there.

I'm still waiting for Crackdown to become BC. I miss that game.

That's one of the last games I own that still isn't BC, and probably the last one I own that realistically will become BC.

Yeah I've been reading that CD2 for sure but I'd like to be able to replay through them all before 3, but beggars can't be choosers.

Id like to play it but I haven't remember playing the demo when it came out

I'm waiting for splinter cell conviction (I have two copies never played the game) and spec ops the line backwards compatibility.

I just bought an Xbox One S console today. A couple questions:

1) I'm installing Halo 5 and it is taking forever. How is this an improvement over simply popping in the disk like on the earlier generations and playing right away?

2) Are there any issues with overheating? My previous two Xbox 360s got the RRD and so I'm a little leery of having the console on for so long (especially when it has to install games).

1) It's not. Xbox One physical game installs are painful and tedious. PS4 however installs disc based games in seconds. I couldn't care less though because I only buy digitally.

2) Xbox One doesn't have any issues with overheating. Just don't suffocate the console.

Thanks. That is incredibly annoying - Halo 5 is still at only 70% and it's been installing since Monday.

I'm hoping someone else will chime in because the games are definitely not supposed to take that long to install. At most, that process should take about 30-40mins max on Xbox One. I don't play Halo 5 but if I recall correctly, there's a patch file to download as well after the install so that could be why it is taking it forever. 2 days is rough. I know people in rural areas with crap internet who don't need that long!

Yeah, I do wonder a bit (though not expecting you to provide an answer) because it's in my basement suite and there I can get Neftlix perfectly fine on the TV but I can't get the Internet on my phone so I do wonder if that has something to do with it, though I would have hoped since Netflix uses the Internet to stream movies it would also make the downloads be fine.

I think it's because some devices get by better on Wifi than others, OR it's more compatible with your ISP or router. I find that my PS4 is far more reliable on my wifi than my Xbox One, and like you my phone is really hit or miss on Wifi. On Xbox One Wifi I lag quite a bit, whereas I don't on PS4. I've read the opposite online so it probably comes down to how well the device gets along with the router/ISP.

My suggestion is try to use an ethernet cable if possible, that really helps. It changes things drastically for me with Xbox One and makes it much faster. That's probably more due to my Wifi though.
