Bombastik der Teutone
@DaveAMcCarthy Martin Erat (no goals in 23 games) draws out tonight; Eric Fehr plays first game since Nov 2nd. Braden Holtby expected to start. #Capitals hooray....great for my pool preds should have kept him..he was good there btw...he got 4th line Toi in the first 6-7-8 games or so
Jägermeister
Good player not being utilized properly. Unless something changes, Washington really blew it by trading Forsberg for him.

86Viking
Swap for booth actually? i said that aswell, but we would need to add apparently. straight up would be nice tho brings a solid 2way game like almost everyone from trotz style of play. might not be a bad fit, too bad his cap is higher and id prefer a more higher end talent for the price if we could
elvis15
I have no idea why they traded for him. I actually suggested last year that Raymond would be a better fit for them than Erat.
Pears
Filip Forsberg. Lol.
sting
Was an excellent player....His play the last couple of seasons suggests he's done though. Getting Forsberg for Erat was a steal for the Preds.

Phil_314
the caps totally uses him wrong ..lol hope he will land on any team that really needs him on the top 6 and he returns to producing points..if it happens Agreed in trading Booth for him (or I'd add a pick just because the Caps might not want to give him up after getting him for Forsberg). At times this season Martin's been Washington's 4th liner, but he's way too skilled for that IMO. Booth can play the crash and bang game with Tom Wilson and, if he gets paired up with any of Grabo, Johansson or Backstrom (unlikely but all these play-makers could use a banger on their line) he can start lighting it up again in the speed-based, wide-open Eastern Conference. Erat's skill could give us a Cammalleri-lite. He's got strong play-making and offensive abilities overall which could really add balance to this team in the Top 6, plus he only costs $250,000 more than Booth (both have 2 years left in their contracts). sting
Weirdo and a 2nd for erat Watch him play and report back. Remember when Naslund lost it. That is where this guy is at except Nazzy had futher to fall. Is not an upgrade on anyone and would make us even softer.....no thanks.
Master Mind
He'd be a nice addition to our team. His cap hit isn't too bad either.
Pears
Weirdo and a 2nd for erat I'd add Dalpe to sweeten it a bit. Washington might not get a better offer.
