Sixteen W's
The guy has 4 points (1G 3A) +5 in his last 5 games, and he's already matched his career high in points (8) in the NHL. Seems like his Dutch league scoring touches are coming back.
Henrik Kesler
He's much, much improved from last year. He's starting to look like a legitimate third liner
CanucksSayEh
Always liked him, think he can become a bigger Hansen if he keeps improving. Starting to make a lot of good plays on the cycle, protecting the puck and getting chances. Just needs to work on his tenacity, he has the open ice speed for sure. LeanBeef
He's learning to use his chin. Yeah, Oreskovich also had a good chin but never really found out how to use it well consistently.
theminister
He's much, much improved from last year. He's starting to look like a legitimate third liner He was always better suited to a 3rd line role than a 4th line role. He just has had too many players ahead of him to get a shot before. Watermelons
It seems as if Weise is getting better with each game. On top of sticking up for his teammates he's also providing some solid secondary scoring. I think he had (and still has) a lot to prove this season, especially with his former coach from NYR coming over. Glad he's doing well.
hockeyville88
Weise shows the ability to be more than just a 4th line minutes-eater. It's nice that he's actually being used in an attacking role.
Kanucklehead10
Definitely the most improved Canuck. If he keeps this up, he could probably snatch the team's unsung hero award.
TLindenIsGod
The Gretzky of the Dutch League strikes again! What a forehead though
ftmN
I'm much more impressed with him this season compared to last, he seems to be making a lot more plays and general seems to be a better puck handler compared to the dump and chase style he used to be. Pears
Yeah, Oreskovich also had a good chin but never really found out how to use it well consistently. Nuxfanabroad
Been trumpeting The Wheeze for some time now. This is like a beauty mid-round pick that panned out! Excellent waiver claim. These kinda' guys balance out 2 or 3 bad draft choices in year's past. Somebody deserves big credit for saying to nab this bloke!
austy
I wonder if playing in the D last year hurt him a bit? in terms of getting used to having extra time with the puck that you don't get in the NHL. I am surprised he looks ok this year. He is hanging onto passes this year, I recall him being a bit of a puck bobbler in the past.
Salmonberries
He'll never get the credit he deserves around here. He's always been better than he's given credit for.
Gustavo Fring
Playing really well with 'heart and soul'? Sign him on the canucks special, 4.5 mill a year for four years with a full no movement clause. -MG Logic.
-AJ-
He's having a fantastic year thus far. If he keeps this up, he might play his way onto the third line.

TheRussianRocket.
Always thought he was a good 4th liner..I remember when people weren't happy with him and thought he was a plug; I never got that since the beginning and still don't. He's a solid 4th liner and has improved quite a bit this year. ...but that head, man is it something! First head I've ever seen resemble the shape of a guitar pick...now that's special
