oldnews Posted December 15, 2013 Share Posted December 15, 2013 It was nice to beat that team, but aside from Marchand's feeble gestures, they played a pretty respectable hockey game, particularly when they got down - they didn't resort to the type of tactics they are commonly stereotyped with. The Iggy Kesler battle is still epic. The Canucks may have played last night and have a few key injuries as well, but Boston was clearly pretty taxed. They may have managed a good shot total, but a bit misleading - they gave up a lot more odd man rushes and quality scoring chances than usual. oldnews Posted December 15, 2013 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Kass looked good again tonight. A couple hits and a takeaway, but very active with his stick and in the right place on the backcheck. He's looking quicker to me - not in a skating sense - but in a puck hound sense - hopefully the Higgins, Burrows, Hansen, Kesler, Santorelli effect continues to rub off.
