Torts = Best Canucks Coach Ever

I said right after the Canucks Stanley Cup run that the Canucks couldn't be content with the status quo because that is not how professional sports works these days.

In order, to succeed you always have to be ahead of the curve and Gillis is clearly behind the curve. He is a reactor not a progessive thinker. Moneyball really didn't work for Beane in baseball( how many championships does the A's have?) and it certainly doesn't work in the NHL. The NHL for better or worse is about cronyism. And in that deparatment Gillis is major failure.

Just a shout out and Happy New Year to this years Canucks and Torts, who in my opinion is without a doubt, the best Canucks coach of all time.

Only rivaled by the great Pat Quinn and late Roger Neilson and neither had as much fire.

If you look at any coaches before and since, skipping Quinn and Neilson, no one comes close.

Poking Hansen to death for being a floating dane. Benched for the rest of the period. And since he has responded well.

Torts is going to get the best out of this team and the future is bright for 2014.

Go Canucks !!!

:towel: :towel: :towel:

Too bad the rest of the team sucks s$&t big time, ...worst team in 15 years... No heart. No compete. No skill. No finish. No hitting. No return for Schnieder. No return for Luongo. And the worst of all .. that cancerous piece of crap David Booth We suck sooo bad that we cant even suck right! Middle of the pack crap that wont even get us a good draft pick.

I don't know how anyone can call him the best coach ever when he has coached less than a season and the team is currently out of the playoffs.

We need to give him more time (and better players) before we decide. Maybe you like his style but results are what matter.

Funny how things have changed since December when BOZO 76 first started this post. All the things the TSN analyst said would happen- happened, from burnout for the overworked top 6 players, to disorganization to the team tuning out. If we follow along with their thinking he'll be fired in 34 days with MG......and not a moment too soon!
