Heretic
He got it as he shoots left, the coaching staff wanted 4 left and 4 right defense.
D-Money
Deserves it. Not sure if he beats out Seabrook on NA ice, but on the big ice his mobility will be a big asset.

YEGCanuck
If it wasn't for players from B.C. and Ontario the Canadian team would be a little sparse.

Lychees
Love it, hopefully he isn't a bubble player and is in the top
NUCKS4CUP 28
Personally I think he should be higher on the depth chart than Vlasic. I'm more shocked Letang didn't make it than I am Hamhuis made it.

PONCHE
Im still not sure how Nash merits an invitation given some that were left off (and given his play this season). That being said, he was pretty great in 2010 and usually plays strong in international tournies
CatsPajamas
Lol remember all the trade Hammer threads.
apollo
Beauty! Big congrats to Hamhuis. His value is sky high right now... I wouldn't mind trading him for a more physical defenseman right now. Easier said than done obviously. Can't even think of one we could get. Hope Keith has a career ending concussion and Hamhuis steps in. Preferably from an elbow from Daniel. I know I'm dreaming though.
elvis15
Congrats to them both, as well as all the rest of our Olympians (compiled by avelanch): Roberto Luongo-Can Dan Hamhuis-Can Ryan Kesler-USA Daniel Sedin-Sweden Henrik Sedin-Sweden Alex Edler-Sweden Yannick Weber-Switzerland Ronalds Kenins-Latvia
NUCKS4CUP 28
Im still not sure how Nash merits an invitation Cause Nash is probably one of the best players on the league playing on on of the worst teams and playing under AV. People had beef with Nash making it in 2010 and he was the best player in the 2010 Olympics.
