The All-Snub Canadian B Team

Recommended Posts

Saw TSN put together a 2nd Canadian Olympic team. So I thought we could have some fun and everyone could propose their 2nd Canadian Olympic Teams. Where do you think they'd finish?

Here's The Full Roster Of Team Canada: (So you can remember who you can't choose)

http://www.tsn.ca/ca...eature/?id=1131

My B Team:

Hall - Thornton - Giroux

Neal - Couture - St.Louis

Lucic - Seguin - Eberle

Spezza - E.Stall - Richards

Skinner - Ladd

Giordano - Seabrook

Staal - Letang

Phanuef - Boyle

Bieksa - Campbell

Crawford

Fleury

Ward

I honestly think that this team could easily win a medal if they were at Sochi.

I heard some guy made teams all the way down to G.. Can anyone find the link?

This guy made teams all the way to J

http://allwonmedia.com/sports/how-deep-is-team-canada/

The point of this tedious exercise is to get an idea of how deep the pool is for potential Canadian Olympic players. In order to avoid controversy, I kept it objective and went by current NHL points with a few changes, of course, where I felt necessary. I stopped forming rosters at the threshold where I felt Canada would no longer be a competitive team in the Olympics. With that being said, I’m sure Canada could qualify all the way down to their ‘Z’ team. Anyway, here they are:

Why is everyone so gung-ho on Hall? He's poor defensively, a turnover machine and often puts himself in vulnerable positions when he's about to be hit. Honestly I'd rather have Eberle before him

Not exactly your prototypical international player which other teams top players will punish easily

It will be a mistake not taking Seabrook, mark my words.

Seabrook was so crucial in the Hawks winning the Cup last season, he was the one who pulled Toews up by his bootstraps when they were down 3 games to 1 vs the Wings.

I guess PK Subban is more popular...I hope he knows that running your mouth will get you 10 minutes in the penalty box.
