DIBdaQUIB
I knew they were going to tie, said to my bro, just had the feeling...Too much skill on the Pens these kind of losses are more about too little character/compete on the Nucks and little to do with the talent on the other team. Canuck or Die
This is why we need our injured guys back. They are more significant than people realize.
D.Doughty
2 points in the last 2 games against powerhouse teams, that is a serious accomplishment with all the injuries the Canucks have. we could have 4... It is not how many points we`re getting but how we are playing. We are just not finishing teams off and that will be a real issue IF we make the playoffs
Legend Killer
yeah. bieksa is right.. they play better from behind, even in the standings. this teams heart absolutely sucks.. they want to get to a certain point and not worry about staying there

hockeyville88
Remember this stretch of choke jobs when we're grappling for a spot in the playoffs This team has no confidence when playing with the lead. We are down by a goal or two there's no pressure because everyone expects us to lose so we end up playing great. All of a sudden when you have a lead and the win is supposed to be guaranteed we choke. Earth to Kesler. Where the hell was he tonight. And the Sedins? If they're injured, sit. Don't play and be ineffective. Fans probably dished big bucks to see Sid. Glad he put on a show for them because our star players clearly don't do that anymore. Jaimito
Well the good news is I'm starting to get used to this, at least we got a point yes, they were down 0-2 basically, the team is not good enough to play against the big dogs. granted, backup goalie and depleted line up, but the D has to better. if you can't score, you must defend well. pretty much the low point of the season, choke after choke. Steve Carell
"Right now, we're not doing a good enough job." - Bieksa Lmao you don't say?
MJDDawg
Outside of the huge choke job, I liked a lot about our game tonight... - Lack played great again, otherwise the game would have been over after the first period. - Sestito is starting to look like he could actually become a decent hockey player. - Kass had another solid game and looked awesome on that second line with Kes and Higgy. It's a process
Ever since the Boston win in 2012.... down hill. Such a mentally fragile team now.
Dr. Crossbar
Not sure what hurts more ... losing to the Ducks in the last second of OT, or blowing a 2 goal lead in the last 4 minutes only to lose the Pens in a shootout. Feels the same.
Dral
We'd be first in the west if we could take back the last 2 minutes of every game
NUCKS4CUP 28
That's it. If we're out of the playoffs come trade deadline, I'd like a fire sale. Sedin's - gone. Edler - gone. Booth - gone/waived Luongo - Hold onto for at least another year to marinate Lack with even more hunger and wisdom, then - gone to an actual contender and NOT a pretender. Buckeye Fruit
Harsh. That said, there was some fine hockey played. Would love to see these 2 clubs play for the cup. Provided we can D THE F UP! And protect a lead!
c00kies
Did you really just say that? Lack was good, but he also LET IN TWO GOALS IN 16 SECONDS WITH UNDER 75 SECONDS LEFT Yes, but he was solid in O.T. and stopped 1 of the 2 pens in the shootout. He did let in a couple goals that weren't the greatest (Malkin one and the Letang goal), but nothing too weak.
Absent Canuck
Lack's third goal was weak. not much chance on the 4th one. The third one was deflected off Kesler then off the post and in. 4th one crosby was left alone for some reason at the side of the next by Hamhuis.
