GLASSJAW Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 I'm not too convinced by that Real Estate album me either. i loved both their self-titled album and Days, but can't get into this one at all. i dig the style, but there's actually only one or two songs that stick out to me, but even now i couldn't recite a melody for a billion dollars. but i could probably hum the entirety of Days, if asked big let down for me, but i'm hoping its a grower. At first, I wasn't so sure about it because it sounded "cleaner" than their previous stuff. However, that pitchfork review for the song Crime really made sense of the sound for me. He/they moved from a solo project to a three piece band while retaining the lush, blissed out floating beats and synthesizers.
