SOB for MVP
Welcome to the National Lacrosse Sim League, a league that will be simulated using the STHS system. The STHS system is used primarily for hockey simulations, but we will do our best to ensure the best lacrosse experience it can provide. In this simulator, you will take over the role of a General Manager, and do everything from trade players, draft players, sign free agents, set your lineups, and more. Due to the few teams in the National Lacrosse League currently (9 teams total), we have brought back 5 defunct teams. These teams include the Portland LumberJax, Orlando Titans, Philadelphia Wings, Chicago Shamrox, and the Arizona Sting. An Expansion draft is held for any future expansion teams that join. The 14 teams battle it out through their season, with the ultimate goal of hoisting the Champion's Cup. Canucklax serves as the Vice President of NLL Sim Operations We are always open to taking applications, lacrosse knowledge/experience is an asset, but not required, as Lax and I will make is as easy as possible for you to follow allong. The teams are as follows-Western Conference - Arizona Sting - gmen81 - Calgary Roughnecks - Spoderman - Colorado Mammoth - CM Punk - Edmonton Rush - Holmsey - Minnesota Swarm - BananaMash - Portland LumberJax - Canucklax - Vancouver Stealth - hatedkid666Eastern Conference - Buffalo Bandits - Rick Grimes - Chicago Shamrox - HowYaDrouin - New England Black Wolves - SOB for MVP - Orlando Titans - JimLahey - Philadelphia Wings - Go Faulk Yourself - Rochester Knighthawks - *VaNcOuVeRCaNuCkS* - Toronto Rock - Crom!Roster Spreadsheethttps://docs.google....drive_web#gid=8Defunct: - Boston Blazers

Orlando Titans - Cory Cop Prospect Rankings (editing with descriptions) 1. LW - Wesley Berg - 6'1" - 180 lbs - Coquitlam Adanacs - Selected by Arizona Consensus #1 of the Draft. Coquitlam did not play him against Calgary in the playoffs so that he would be fresh for the Minto Cup, not wanting to risk any injury to their star player. 2. LW - James Rahe - 6'4" - 225 lbs - Langley Thunder - Selected by Toronto Big boy puts balls in the net. Coquitlam traded a first round draft pick and more just for Rahe's playing rights for the playoffs, the deal sent Rahe back to Langley in the offseason, where he carries a lackluster team. 3. RW - Shane MacDonald - 6'0" - 205 lbs - Brampton Excelsiors - Selected by Philadelphia Spreads around the offence. Puts up goals and assists. Piece to build an offence around. 4. LW - Lyle Thompson - 6'0" - 180 lbs - Albany - Selected by Portland Potentially the best of the Thompson clan. His need for goals, and amazing stick skills make for one hell of a player. 5. RW/D - Brandon Goodwin - 6'2" - 210 lbs - Coquitlam Adanacs - Selected by Calgary Rock solid wherever you put him. Can score goals, or be reliable on defence. 6. LW - Quinn Powless - 6'2" - 220 lbs - Six Nations Arrows - Selected by Rochester Contrary to popular belief, is Johnny's cousin. Quinn was Six Nations' setup man. Put him with a goal scorer and he should rack up the apples. 7. RW - Joe Haodais Maracle - 5'11" - 195 lbs - Six Nations Arrows - Selected by Edmonton Energizer bunny. All over the map on offence. Setting picks, getting in scrums, scoring, getting open, he does it all. 8. D - Rodd Squire Jr. - 6'1" - 180 lbs - Six Nations Arrows - Selected by Chicago Most reliable defenceman of this years draft. Brings sandpaper to the backend. 9. RW - Jesse King - 6'3" - 205 lbs - Victoria Shamrocks - Selected by Buffalo It was all about him in Victoria, being their go to on the offence. Will put up goals in the NLL. 10. G - Alexis Buque 5'10" - 225 lbs - New Westminster Salmonbellies - Selected by Vancouver Consensus #1 goalie of the draft. Big boy fills a lot of the net. Is the starter for the WLA Bellies. 11. RW/D - Matt Bennett - 6'0" - 185 lbs - Brampton Excelsiors - Selected by Colorado Point producer with attitude. Not afraid to be the center of a scrum. 12. RW - Tyler Ferreira - 6'1' - 155 lbs - Brampton Excelsiors - Selected by Toronto Goal scorer with a small frame. Will not bring much physically, but is a reliable supporting player. 13. RW - Jordan Dance - 5'8" - 145 lbs - Orangeville Northmen - Selected by Edmonton Set up man with slick hands. Not a big player, but plays on the edge. 16. D - Brier Jonathan - 6'0" - 179 lbs - Six Nations Arrows - Selected by New England Grandson of legendary Boston Bruins forward Stan Jonathan, plays with his Grandfather's grit. Will defend his team mates. 17. D - Graeme Hossack - 6'1" - 180 lbs - Brooklin Redmen - Selected by Portland Stay at home defenceman. Used in junior to shut down key offensive players. 18. RW - Brandon Bull - 5'11" - 185 lbs - Victoria Shamrocks - Selected by Philadelphia Speedy, will go to the dirty areas in front of the net. 19. RW - Ty Thompson - 6'0' - 185 lbs - Albany - Selected by New England Another member of the Thompson clan. Another goal scorer. Does not have the finesse of Lyle or Miles, but has the skill nonetheless. 20. D - Luc Magnan - 6'0" - 205 lbs - Robert Morris - Selected by Minnesota Manitoba's best lacrosse product in years. Quality defenceman. 21. RW - Dan Taylor - 6'3" - 207 lbs - Calgary Mountaineers - Selected by Chicago Mountaineers Captain, who does it all for their offence. Quality complimentary player. 22. Looks to follow his older brothers to the big leagues on the offensive side of the floor. 27. RW - Chad Tutton - 6'2" - 220 lbs - North Carolina - Selected by Portland Big boy has slick hands and can quarterback a powerplay. 28. LW - Reegan Comeault - 5'10" - 165 lbs - Ohio State - Selected by Colorado Once regarded as one of the top lacrosse prospects of the sport, off-floor issues took away from his production on the floor. Skill is still there, but he may need mental development. 29. G - Cody Hagedorn - 5'10" - 175 lbs - Victoria Shamrocks - Selected by Rochester Shamrocks ace stole the starting job and rode it into the playoffs with a trip to the Mann Cup. Quality young netminder who would best learn as a backup, but has starter potential. 30. RW - Alex Lubczuk - 6'0" - 190 lbs - Kitchener Waterloo Kodiaks - Selected by Edmonton May not put up the points, but brings quality leadership, and plays with heart and grit. Not a dirty player, but will hit anything that moves. Never tires, always giving 100% on the floor. The Rest (Alphabetical) D - Adam Bakular-Evans - 6'4" - 215 lbs - Nanaimo Timbermen - Selected by Minnesota was a leader on the backend for the Jr Tmen. Could easily make the transition to a NLL defenceman D - Anthony Patterson - 6'2" - 216 - Six Nations Arrows - Selected by New England Six Nations’ rock on defence. Brings out the wooden sting regularly. Intimidating defenceman. LW - Brady Heseltine - 6'2" - 182 lbs - Brampton Excelsiors Goal scorer who is used to being the center of an offence. G - Brandon Styres - 6'3" - 235 lbs - Six Nations Arrows son of Knighthawks owner Curt Styres. One of the few good goalies that Iroquois has produced in recent years RW/D - Brendan Ranford - 5'10" - 182 lbs - New Westminster Salmonbellies former draft pick of the Philadelphia Flyers, and current member of the Texas Stars AHL team, Ranford is a rugged defender who has used both sports to refine his defensive game. LW/D - Brendan Rouse - 6'1" - 190 lbs - Burnaby Lakers depth player that doesnt have flashy attributes, but will work hard on both sides of the floor. Not afraid to defend a team mate. LW Cam Gardner - 5'9" - 170 lbs – Bellarmine Complimentary offensive player, good on the powerplay LW - Chad Mitchell - 6'1" - 160 lbs – Bellarmine Loves to shoot, which by nature comes with goals. D - Connor Campbell - 6'0" - 145 lbs - Brampton Excelsiors - Selected by Vancouver Lanky defenceman who relies on his positioning over his skills. C - Cory Cop - 6'1" - 180 lbs - Port Coquitlam Saints - Selected by Orlando Face off ace. Rarely lost a draw in Junior. Scores most of his points by dishing it off on the draw. May not have the offensive skills for the NLL level/ G - Cory Mayzes - 6'4" - 260 lbs - Saanich Tigers Led Saanich to a Jr. B title in a massive comeback win vs. Burnaby (which SOB is still bitter about), good goaltender who uses his size. D - Darryl Robertson - 6'0" - 195 lbs - Whitby Warriors Good transition player who has a good two-way game. D - DJ Giacobbo - 6'1 - 182 lbs – Canisius Solid, stay at home defenceman who focuses on turnovers. D - DJ Saari - 6'4" - 200 lbs - Nanaimo Timbermen Physical, but disciplined defender. LW/D - Dom Sebastiani - 6'0" - 190 lbs – Delaware fast defender who can get the ball up the floor. RW - Dylan Goddard - 5'10" - 175 - Clarington Green Gaels - Selected by Colorado Look up a Gaels scoring record and Goddard probably owns it. He’s scored 125, 123 and 120 points in the last three seasons. The reason he’s not higher on the list is that he’s only played four Jr A games in his career. It’s just difficult to say how immense success in Jr B will translate to the professional game. D - Eric Guiltinan - 5'10" - 185 lbs - Kitchner-Waterloo Kodiaks Defender with some snarl. Plays the stay at home role well. C/LW - Ian Martin - 5'10" - 175 lbs - Six Nations Arrows - Selected by New England Six Nations’ faceoff ace. Most complete faceoff man of the draft. D - Jayson Crawford - 5'11" - 180 lbs - Brampton Excelsiors Mainly played Jr. B but has transitioned to Jr A. based on his speed and aggressiveness. G - Jeremy Funk - 6'0" - 230 lbs - Maple Ridge Burrards Burrards’ backup. Reliable in relief, big boy with quick reflexes. D - Joe Fletcher - 6'2" - 185 lbs – Loyola Lock down defender who made the national team for outdoor while still in college. Also needs to develop but is a smart, simple defender with a lanky build RW - Jordan Robertson - 5'7" - 185 lbs - Whitby Warriors Product of a lackluster Toronto Beaches Jr. team, he has shown that he can succeed while playing with not much talent. RW/D - Kevin Pym - 5'9" - 160 lbs - Okotoks Raiders good transition game that will open up scoring chances. Small defender may be hard for an NLL game. G - Michael DeGirolamo - 6'5" - 250 lbs - Okotoks Raiders Big goalie that can easily fit in as a backup while he develops. RW/LW - Mike Crampton - 5'10" - 165 lbs - Air Force - Selected by Orlando Air Force pilot who enjoys the sport. Holds a majority of the schools offensive records. RW/D - Mike Mawdsley - 5'11" - 205 lbs - Oakville Rock Transition player who can put up some offensive numbers, C/LW/D - Mitch McAvoy - 5'8" - 175 lbs – Mercyhurst Faceoff man who takes care of his own side of the ball. D - Nicholas Jonas - 6'4" - 240 lbs – Minnesota big stay at home defender who is known only for his defence. Helps his team mates by not spending much time in the penalty box. LW - Pat Henry - 6'1" - 185 lbs - Calgary Mountaineers Another Jr. Mountie eligible for the draft. Complimentary offensive player. Played well with Goodwin and Taylor. D - Paxton Leroux - 6'3" - 190 lbs - Peterborough Lakers - Selected by Orlando Competitive dman who is not afraid to rack up the PIMs. Former New York Rangers prospect. D - Steve Ferdinandi - 5'11" - 185 lbs - New Westminster Salmonbellies Captain of the Bellies defence. Plays a consistent and gritty game. D - Terry Ellis - 6'1" - 205 lbs – Denver Late bloomer, speedy defender. One of the few African-Americans to excel at the sport. LW/D - Tyson Roe - 6'10" - 245 lbs - Nanaimo Timbermen - Selected by Edmonton no arguing his size, but he does not always use it. Would need development. LW/D - Zac Reid - 6'1" - 195 lbs – Mercyhurst Reid’s calling card is versatility. He was a solid defender with the Athletics but a high-scoring middie at Mercyhurst University. D - Zach Rogers - 6'5" - 210 lbs - Langley Thunder Solely a defensive player. Big frame, looks for the turnovers. RW / D - Zach Williams - 6'0" - 180 lbs - Six Nations Arrows Multidimensional defender, helps his team by not spending time in the penalty box. http://www.swarmitup...ctureRoster.htm http://www.swarmitup...ctureRoster.htm List of Real Life NLL Draftees - http://www.swarmitup.com/2014EDOrder.htm

SOB for MVP
Just a quick update of where we are. I have created about 200 out of the 300 players needed to start. After that Canucklax and I then need to go through and rate each player and then I need to implement the ratings into the system. By the time that is done I imagine we will have filled all 14 teams, and we can then look to the expansion draft. At some point I will need someone to create a google document with all 14 teams in it, with team colours and what not preferred. In the end, I want our roster spreadsheet to look similar to this https://docs.google....QxSUlHcmc#gid=0 My goal would to be to get this league going by the second week of February.
