I'll take USA/Sweden/Finland if available?

This game is full, we're only going with 5 participants keep from people choosing events/players based on process of elimination.

And I should clarify, you don't just choose a country at random, you go with your home country, or a country you have ties to. I have Canada listed as mine, but other participants can select Canada as well. The only bearing it has is if your country wins medals in the events the participant selects.

I will Select Finland as my home nation, although I am Canadian of Fin/Swede decent.

Clarification though: Do we say "Snowboarding" and if our country medals in any snowboarding event we get points, or do we say "Men's Slopestyle Snowboarding" and only get points if that exact one brings a Finish medal?

You must be specific with your events. For example, I can't select Ice Hockey and then collect points on either Mens or Womens hockey, or both. I'd need to specify Mens or Womens when selecting.

Sergei Bobrovsky indicated to me via PM he's going to go with the USA, so we can get the draft going! The draft results have been posted above in the 2nd post, and Primal Optimist is up with 1st overall!

Teams must select 3 Olympic events, 6 Mens hockey players (4 forwards, 2 Defencemen) and 3 Womens hockey players (must all be on different teams). Teams can select these in any order they want.

We will give people up to 24 hours to make their selection.

PO, you're up!

Hey there, Sorry I was at work when this came up, home now and supper is over, and its the 2nd intermission of the Flames game, Backlund scored 2, WOW. haha....Go Flames Go! (come on its against the blackhawks, I can go there in this one instance)

Without further ado, Team Finland for first overall pick, and I understand I can pick a mens or womens hockey player or a specific sporting event and knowing this, I still say only a fool would pick anyone other than Sidney Crosby.

TsLS.jpgSelects first overall Sidney Crosby.

Apologies for the delay people!

Team GB are proud to select Canada's assistant captain Hayley Wickenheiser as their first pick of the draft, and their first female ice hockey representative.

Hayley has 45pts in 21 Olympic games prior to Sochi and we look forward to seeing her in action in her 5th Games.
