[PGT] Jets 4, Collapsers 3

It's a process

well, he looked terrible playing with daniel and burrows and that's $11.5 mil in linemates. close enough?

samuelsson made kesler, and its because when he was on kesler's line, the play ran through him. he carried the puck into the zone, dictated the pace and the strategy.

kesler doesnt have the brains offensively to be the leader of a line. its why his best offensive performances came playing with samuelsson and sundin, two guys who took charge.

Right, Samuelsson, the 3rd liner who signed with us for 2.5 was the key... Good thing he's taking his awesome role on his new team and helping their 2nd line centre win the selke while putting up career numbers...

wait...can he still do that while on the waivers?

It's like you guys have short term memory or something... One of Samuelsson's biggest criticism was that he had no vision and was a pure shoot first player that ruined the flow of the line. It wasn't his play making abilities or the way he controlled the flow of the line that led to success., it was a shoot first mentality that caused rebounds and second chances that helped the line... You are so off its not even funny

If you want a trip down memory lane, here's what fans were saying about Samuelsson

But yeah, sure thing, he was the key on the Kesler line LOL

. burrows hasnt scored dating back to twenty or so games before the end of last season. Nobody should be getting a free pass on this team except Luongo. The only excuse burr may have going for him is his full shield but he needs to step up.

Burrows scored twice in the SJ series last year in the playoffs (games 3 & 4). He scored last in the regular season on April 15 of last year, that means he didn't score in the final 5 regular season games and the first 2 playoff games. So it's absolutely not true to say he hasn't scored since "twenty or so games before the end of last season." (In actuality, he scored 6 times in the final 20 regular season games last year.)

Burr is struggling this year, but he's also been hampered by injuries all year which have made keeping his normal high level of fitness up and learning the new coach's system that much harder. And you can tell he's feeling the pressure to score, which obviously isn't helping. He may not deserve a complete free pass, but he surely deserves an extension before people start calling for him to be traded. (I know you didn't say that, just speaking generally.)

2009 -2010 season Mikael scored more than Kes in fewer games (30 goals in 74 games) had more shots in fewer games and a better shooting percentage.Took less penalties, scored 4 GWG's and added 7 on the second unit PP.

During the playoffs he led the entire team in scoring, tallying eight goals to Kesler's one.

Leads the team in playoff scoring and tallies 30 reg season goals for $2.5 million.

In 2010-11 he gets 50 points.

In 155 games as a Canuck MS scored a goal ever three games he played in and was a .68 PPG player.

In the playoffs he was that same goal scorer and a .77 PPG contributor.

How are the Canucks and Kes doing with Mikael's replacement these last few years?

Booth's $13.5 million for these last few years for his 22 goals and one playoff assist smells pretty bad.

Mikael was the one that told us about management while the fanboys and gushers were still hyperventilating.

Never mind the success he had here or the team's success with him in the lineup,I will always admire him for speaking his truth.
