I did one of those political spectrum tests in grade 11 social studies, I was so far right I went above the maximum score on the results sheet. Now it says I'm a Liberal, which I guess is true although I'm in that realm where my important issues aren't covered by any single party.

That's because the important issues are all avoided in politics these days. It's bad politics to take a stand on something major as you are guaranteed to lose votes by pissing someone off, so you ho-hum and dance around the topics until it's time to leave.

I knew I leaned conservative, but didn't think it was that big. I think that test was pretty heavily weighted on the left slider. I really don't care about a lot of the issues they put on there but care a lot about others. I actually expected to be liberal.
