PGT 3-1 loss

Ryan kesler the beast

Not that upset at this loss. The effort was there. They lack any offence right now but look at the guys out there. Sedins are both hurt and struggling bad... to be honest it's a good reminder of what a team looks like during a rebuild..

If we traded Bieksa, or Hammer, we're not going to get a 40 goal forward for them. You're going to get draft picks, maybe a bad contract or a teams 2nd/3rd best prospect. So what you saw last night isn't that far from how a team with a lot of new NHL'ers and young guys look like. They competed hard, they didn't back down from the Bruins, but they made some key mistakes, and lacked execution. Those are things those guys will have to learn.

With the core of prospects we have, and whatever other moves we can make to strengthen that depth, and maybe find a diamond in the rough up front like we seem to have no problem doing on the backend or in goal, our rebuild can still happen while the Sedins are decent players (and they'll bounce back from this season), and not 5 years from now after several last place finishes. We can still be a quality .500 hockey team. Now it's on the fans to show their quality when it's not easy being a fan.

This team cant hit, pass, shoot, score... Kassian another non factor against a big physical team. Luongo cant make key saves to save his life... this team is a huge mess..... a mess filled with NTCs and an incompetent GM who will try to fix it....

Booth and Diaz were the only ones that showed up.

Everyone except Sedins and Kesler should be available.

Ye youre right. Kass had nothing to do with winning the board battle and making the pass on ou only goal. The hate glasses look good on you.

Kass and JS both had good games last night I thought.

I agree. Im on the fence with JS as I feel he is too small to be sustainable unless with the right linemates to do the heavy lidting But credit where its due he did very well against a heavy Bruin line up and doesnt/didnt back down.Hes got good quick hands and like Kass needs to play on a line with a finisher.Having said that I wouldnt mind if he was packaged up for someone with the same skill set but another 30lbs and 4"
