MJDDawg Posted March 19, 2014 Share Posted March 19, 2014 I'm one of "those" guys who is happy to see this team lose as many of these remaining games as possible. Not because I hate this team but because I love this team. Losing now gives us at a higher pick in a shallow draft year. If we can get into the top 8, we can get ourselves a very nice prospect to add to our prospects pool. Best case scenario for me is to see the young guys like Jensen, Kassian, and Lack play well down this stretch while Nashville and Winnipeg pass us in the standings. There should be no illusion here. Dallas is in the drivers seat with 4 games in hand on us and 2 games in hand on 8th place Phoenix. Together with any top end prospects we might obtain this off season, thinking about getting another nice prospect in this year's draft gives me hope and gets me excited about the future of this team.
