Do we have a back up goalie?

If our back up goalie isn't good enough to start 1 of the last 15 or so games, shouldn't we "reassess" who our back up goalie is?

I can't believe we're going to wear Lack into the ground. If our # 2 isn't good enough to play at this level, let's get another back up!

We do have a backup, his name is Lack and he's played 50 straight games.

Wait... does that make Markstrom a backdown?

One relief effort in an already horrible game.

That's all you have to support your statement.

Weak.

I tried looking for a Cartman picture saying super weak but I couldn't find one and I'm to lazy to make one...

Now I'm have sads... :(

Don't worry buddy, it's the thought that counts.

I didn't even think of it! My brain did! I'm such a loser....

It's a vcrguy thread.

Lowered expectations are in order.

you're entitled to your opinion, but does it really make sense to leave the back up on the bench (for fear of shaking his confidence) while you let the starter do this:

E. Lack 21 5 16 .762 59:57

Call me whatever you want, but my opinion doesn't change what Tortorella is doing to our goalie situation.

A year ago and a bit ago we had Schneider, Luo and Lack (in the system)........

This year we had Luo and Lack.

After the trade deadline we had Lack, and someone we don't dare put between the pipes.

After we lose Lack, will we finally start pointing fingers?

I know Torts had nothing to do with Schneider going, but he certainly escorted Luo out the door.

Well it looks like I'm in the minority once again but I say that as long as we have even a mathematical chance at a playoff spot we play Lack if only to temper him by fire, if you will, and give him a good taste of high intensity hockey to see how well he plays. If, once we are officially out, we don't see Markstrom I too will be a bit peeved. But I say wait until then. I'm thinking this blast of hard work will do Slack Eddie wonders come next season.
