Neversummer
1 ... nothing really excites me on this team if there isn't going to be any major changes in GM and Coach. Seriously, they will ruin his development or trade him just before he peaks.

erkayloomeh
My excitement level that torts might get fired is 10. Fox scoring ability and the fact we got him for nothing has got me really hopeful he can translate it into the nhl. 9. Horvat 7.
JE14
Fox - 3 Horvat - 8 Horvat is one of those players where you already know what he's going to be like in 3 years. Fox, I have no idea, but he'll probably be playing in Europe.
Neversummer
Any GM can "trade him before he peeks"... In my original post, I wrote, 'trade him just before he peaks'. Of course, any up and coming player can be traded, but I don't particularly trust this current GM with developing players.
JohnLocke
What part of '...or trade him just before he peeks' don't you understand when it comes to GM's role. How can I put it so that your IQ of 15 can understand easier? Haha! In the same post you call someone out for having an IQ of 15,you say, "trade him before he peeks" Peeks eh? Is horvat peeking on Gillis taking a shower so he's gonna get traded?

Ghostsof1915
I'm trying to be just cautiously optimistic and see what happens, but hoping for the best.
Chalky
Horvat 7.5 - I am excited to see him begin his development but I have no expectations of him coming in and contributing at a top level. He is still a kid, I just hope he gets a chance to cut his teeth.Fox 6 - He would have been a 4 of not for the value giving up nothing for him. I doubt he makes the team and spends a year or 2 in Utica. Can he score at the NHL level? Hmmm, that's what excites me.
TOMapleLaughs
I certainly hope people aren't expecting saviours.
Azzy Mahmood
My excitement levels: Tortorella firing = 10 Gillis firing = 10 (although I accept this is unlikely, last chance saloon though Mike) Sedins getting back to offensive best = 10 Tanev signing a long term deal = 10 Kesler being traded for good assets = 8 Horvat making the team = 8 Jensen sticking with the team = 8 Santorelli being back next season = 8 Fox =
Jack Fig
Horvat - 7 Fox - 2. I find it hard to get excited about a player nobody else was willing to draft or sign as a free agent. He's a project. But as long as the Canucks are willing to put some proper development into him, you never know.

mpt
Oh yea it's all Torts fault. Seriously if Torts gets fired this organization is even more of a joke then it currently has become.

Seriously amazing how people are blaming Torts for this season. Yes he overplayed Kesler and the Sedins, but who else could rely on to score?! We've had 3 top 6 forwards this year... mpt
We've had 3 top 6 players for the last 3 years. MG loves his 3rd liners. Quantity over quality is his motto. I really hope we get someone else to trade Kesler, I don't trust MG with trading anyone anymore.

TheRussianRocket.
Horvat 10 best prospect we've had in a long time, what's not to be excited about Fox 8 has all the tools to become a scoring tough guy. Only knock is he's an overager but still, excellent so far
