lumberman
If managment changes are indeed around the corner here and also some say as well in Nashville. Would you bring in Barry Trotz to replace Torts.? He's a BC boy, has good success with limited funds, highly respected and is very good with the media. PS, Keeping Torts after watching all season how he made a mess of this years team is mind boggling. Discuss if you will:
MJDDawg
That would be interesting. I've always thought that Trotz was one of the best in the league with what limited resources he's been given. If he could coach a more up-tempo game, it could be a very good move.
ForsbergTheGreat
I'd deffinately want someone who knows hows to coach offence and high end skill. Trotz has always been known for getting the most of a weak roster. Not sure if he is the right coach for this team. We have high end skill and talent we need a system that favours that. To bad a guy like Bruce Boudreau wasn't on the market

Rush17
Would he consider leaving Nashville? I saw his in the life of Barry Trots. His family has really deep roots in Nashville but thats an interesting idea. Rather get a more upset coach though myself. Maybe we could grab Linden as a coach :D. Linden has to become part of the org in some way!!! pls universe make it happen!
Rick Grimes
He's the longest serving coach in the NHL for a reason. I'm convinced that as long as that "Weber/Rinne" combo is locked up - he will be to.
R3aL
If he was let go of course I would be down, but doubt hes going anywhere
icetime
Come on! Lets get someone new, AV was a great choice at the time. Not recycled name. He was having good success in AHL and had NHL experience. Look around. Please lets not just grab a name. Put some thought into it this time. But for sure if Torts is not fired we will have another years of trash. 'Nucks Fan from Montana
I was thinking the Devils would make a run at Trotz if he became available but NJ re-signed DeBoer instead (which I don't understand why they did that considering they've missed the playoffs two years straight). If Torts is sacked I can see the Canucks making a run for Trotz if he doesn't accept that front office job the Preds are offering him. I think Trotz would be great with anyone that needs a coach because he knows how to get the most out of his players.
