DeNiro
Well at least we can see there is synergy from top to bottom in this organization. Unfortunately it seems to be built on passing blame onto the next guy.
oldnews
Well it should be a done deal that he's fired at season's end then, right.
Canuck Surfer
So when Faq hired Gillis I guess he wasn't like the Ballards and the Teachers Union, etc? Sigh... When players decline, i'm not sure why coaching, GMing or ownership is to blame.Time is to blame. Even time should / has a succession plan. Time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping... Into the future! Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock. I want to fly like an eagle!
Batmania
ok...sure! Loser has to run naked through the lobby of a Club 16 fitness center?I'll get you the name of my fluffer.
Neversummer
Wants to distance himself from Torts ... not a good sign. But seriously, a lawsuit for this peddy thing. Grow up Aquaman and focus on the important things.
Me_
What a joke this has all become..I crave a little normality surrounding this team. Is that before of after fans threw Luongo under the bus?
Del Rio
great owners who won't even take responsibility for this terrible botch job. its clear with gillis comments and the fact he (gillis) didn't invite torts to the coaching interviews the owners did. Gillis after firing AV said they want a fast paced upbeat puck possession type coach two weeks later the exact opposite was hire after owner wanted torts interviewed. worst owners this franchise has ever had and i pitty the puppet/scapegoat they hire to replace Gillis because the results are going to be the same or more than likely worse. torts: most injuries to top six guys, overplaying them and getting star players to block shots also taking all imagination out of the game worst career for every top six player on the team aswell as the top 4 d-men all having terrible years. clearly the garbage style of play hasn't got ANY of the top players to buy into so trade all of the top six and the top 4 dmen or fire the problem who clearly can't control himself and totally embarrassed himself and the organization. Then why the heck did Gillis fire AV in the first place? AV was playing the style Gillis liked but what happened the last 2 playoffs? Gillis fired AV to save his own a$$ like most GM's do. Gillis was just using Torts as a scapegoat himself. All you fans act like the owners owe you guys something. No they own the team, they put up the money to buy it, they are taking on the risk. pianoman13
It's about time somebody stood up to those Aquilini tyrants and battled for truth and justice. Thanks, media heroes. You're making our season all the better. This is sarcasm right?? The media is anything but heroes, can't stand the hockey writers.
Jack Fig
Everyone is so pleased with the job Torts has done that they all try and distance themselves from him. The un-vote of confidence.
Gross-Misconduct
No surprise here. The Aquiloonies have built an empire partly by being slumlords but every media outlet is scared to remind people or show any footage of old man Aquiloonie chasing the news cameras out of his slum buildings because they are scared to get on the wrong side of the Canucks franchise. TrevorLinden4ever
The media here tends to overstep their...proper boundaries and often fail to exercise good taste. Imagine if they used that same energy reporting on international or even local issues that directly affect the people and the world, as opposed to barging in on the personal lives of a dedicated ownership who want nothing but the best for this team. With that said, I definately support ownership of our team in this matter.
