Breaking Bad

I searched and was surprised that I could not find a thread on this show.

Just saw all the episodes on DVD in a span of 2 months!

My wife and I agree that it was one of the best shows ever (many unexpected & shocking twists, fantastic story line and great acting).

The show ended well and now I see that Vince Gilligan is making a spin off to the show; a prequel revolving around the lawyer Saul "Better Call Saul".

Actually it still exists.

But anyways, my all time favourite show, loved it. And psh, 2 months? I caught up to season 5 in under 2 weeks, then had to wait for he second half of season 5 and watch it live each week.

I did the exact same thing.

I hated having to wait a week for each episode after blowing through it so quickly.

Just finished watching it for the second time around on Saturday. Favourite scene is the dinner between Jesse, Walt, and Skyler. Jesse's reaction to Skyler's infidelity was priceless.

The funniest scene in a non-comedy show I've ever seen. It was amazing.

Jeez, you were probably on vacation for 2 weeks and just watched it non stop. 5 seasons x 16 episodes (1 hour each) = 80 hours. So you watched about 40 hours each week, similar to working a 5 day/week, 8 hours shift.

Only about 40 minutes an episode if using netflix or download. Still a pretty substantial amount of time (though probably worth it).

Saw it all within a month, definitely lived up to the hype and one of the best shows I ever watched. Really the only drama series I have watched.

But now started Sons of Anarchy, almost caught up. That is just as great if not a bit better.
