The Bantam draft is important for the WHL and could be the starting point for future NHLers. If you have any Questions about it feel free to ask! Terrence Ross Posted May 1, 2014 Share Posted May 1, 2014 Keep your eyes on Justin Almeida, this kid is something special. Went 5th overall to the PG Cougars just today in the Bantam Draft. Slightly small at the moment, but the the kid will grow! His skill is off the charts; has been compared by scouts to Datsyuk and Crosby-type skill! winterhawks Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 It will be interesting to see if Vancouver can convince Max Gildon to come to the WHL. He was rated as the best dman in the draft but they got him in the 3rd round. Being so far from Canada, he will be heavily recruited by NCAA schools and the NTDP. moefoe81 Posted May 11, 2014 Share Posted May 11, 2014 You didn't put Parker Wotherspoon on your list, he's going to be a good dman. Played U17 with Barzal and was at U18 camp. He is going to be solid for Tri-City in the next couple years. His brother Tyler played really well with Calgary when he got called up. Hopefully he will be there next year.
